This standard applies to explosion-proof electromagnetic starters for mining (hereinafter referred to as starters). This starter is mainly used in coal mines to directly start, stop and reverse the three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors in lines with AC 50Hz and voltage up to 1140V, and at the same time protect the motor and its related circuits.
The provisions of this standard regarding overload protection do not apply to buried overheating protection devices. Note: Buried type means installed inside the motor. 1 Glossary
1.1 Pilot circuit: The control circuit that first receives the command signal when the main circuit is closed and/or opened. 1.2 Main circuit leakage locking protection: When the insulation resistance of the load side main circuit to ground drops to a specified value, it is a protection device that ensures that the starter cannot be closed according to normal operating procedures.
1.3 Control circuit insulation monitoring and protection: When the insulation resistance of the control circuit to ground drops to a specified value, a device that protects the control circuit.
2 Types and basic parameters
Starters made according to this standard have the following types: 2.1
2.1.1 According to use:
Irreversible starter - together The starter can only make the motor rotate in one direction (without changing the position of the isolating switch); a.
b.
c.
A reversible starter can Make the motor rotate in two directions; the multi-circuit starter starter can control and protect two or more motors. According to the arc extinguishing medium: bZxz.net

2.4
The main circuit contactor adopts vacuum electromagnetic AC contactor. The starter should have the following protection devices:
voltage loss protection;
overload protection;
short circuit protection.
The starter can be equipped with one or more of the following devices or components as needed. Main circuit leakage locking protection,
phase failure protection,
control circuit insulation monitoring protection:
time delay relay,
display,
over-voltage protection ;
Other protections.
Power supply standard frequency: 50Hz.

2.5 rated working voltage: 380, 660, 1140V. 2.6 Control power supply voltage:
AC 6, 12, 24, 36, 42, 127, 220, 380, 660V DC 6, 12, 24, 48, 110, 220V. The pilot circuit voltage is not higher than 36V.
2.7 rated heating current: 40, 100, 160, 315, 400A. 2.8 When the parameters of the starter do not comply with Articles 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, and 2.7, it will still be deemed to comply with this Standard as long as it meets the other provisions of this standard.
2.9 The working system of the starter is divided into:
a eight-hour working system;
Note: The eight-hour working system is the basic working system, and the rated heating current of the starter is derived from it Decide. b. Long-term working system;
Note: This working system is different from the eight-hour working system, because oxides and dust can accumulate on the contacts, causing the temperature to rise continuously. For long-term working systems, it may be necessary to reduce the capacity coefficient or consider special designs (such as using silver and silver-based alloy contacts). c.
Intermittent period working system or repeated short-time working system. The characteristics of the repeated short-duration system are represented by current value, energization time and energization duration.
Power duration rate: 15%, 25%, 40% and 60%. According to the number of operations that can be performed per hour, the repetitive short-time work system is divided into the following levels: less than 12 operations per hour,

3 technical requirements
3.1
Made.
The starter shall comply with the requirements of this standard and be made in accordance with the prescribed procedures and drawings and documents approved by the nationally designated inspection unit. 3.2 The starter must comply with GB3836.1-83 "General Requirements for Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment for Explosive Environments" 》, GB3836.2-83 "Explosion-proof electrical equipment for explosive environments, explosion-proof electrical equipment "d"", GB3836.3-83 "Explosion-proof electrical equipment for explosive environments, increased safety electrical equipment "e"" and GB3836.4- 83 "Explosion-proof electrical equipment for explosive environments, intrinsically safe circuits and electrical equipment", and obtain the "Explosion-proof Certificate" issued by the inspection unit. 3.3 The technical indicators of the components of the starter (AC contactor, isolating switch, transformer, thermal relay, semiconductor electronic relay, control button, indicator light, relay, etc.), in addition to meeting the requirements of this standard, must also comply with their respective standards. requirements. 3.4 The starter should work reliably under the following conditions: a. The altitude does not exceed 2000m,
Note: For starters installed at higher altitudes, the influence of medium strength and air cooling must be taken into account. According to the manufacturer Design and use of contracts signed with users.
b. The operating environment temperature is generally ~5~+40℃. If the ambient temperature range is different, it must be marked on the nameplate, and the temperature should be calculated based on the highest ambient temperature;
c. The relative humidity of the surrounding air should not be greater than 95% (+25℃); d. In mines with explosive mixtures of biogas, the installation inclination with the vertical surface shall not exceed 15°e.
In places without significant shaking and impact vibration, f.
In places where there is no gas or gas that damages the insulation. In a steam environment; g.
h. A place without dripping water;
i. Pollution level: level 3;
j. Installation category: Category II, Category III.
