Its torque is transmitted through the flange end face key and the friction between the flanges. The relevant connection dimensions and bolt pre-tightening torque are specified in Figure 8 and Table 10. Bolts can only be put in from the flange side that matches the coupling, and nuts are tightened from the flange side of the universal coupling. The mechanical properties of the bolts should comply with the 10.9 grade in GB3098.1, and the mechanical properties of the nuts should comply with the 10 grade in GB3098.4.
