GB/T 4217--2001 This standard is the first revision of GB/T4217-1984 based on the international standard ISO161-1:1996 "Thermoplastic pipes for fluid transportation--Nominal outer diameter and nominal pressure Part 1: Metric series". This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO161-1:1996. GB/T4217--1984 "Nominal outer diameter and nominal pressure of thermoplastic pipes (metric series)" is equivalent to the international standard ISO161-1:1978. The new ISO161-1:1996 adds Chapter 3: Definition and minimum required strength MRS, overall service (design) factor regulations, supplements the nominal pressure level and expands the range of nominal pressure, so it is more scientific and rigorous in technical content. This standard is an important basic standard for the formulation of thermoplastic pipe product standards, and plays an important guiding role in the production and use of pipes. This standard will replace GB/T4217-1984 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed by the China Light Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Plastic Products. The drafting units of this standard are: Light Industry Plastic Processing Application Research Institute, Beijing Second Light Industry Co., Ltd., Asia Plastic Products Co., Ltd. and Hebei Baoshuo Pipe Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are: Liu Qiuning, Zhang Yuchuan, Jiao Cuiyun, He Qizhi and Sun Zhiwei. GB/T4217--2001 ISO Foreword The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standardization organizations. The work of formulating standards is generally carried out by ISO technical committees. Any member organization interested in a project of a technical committee has the right to participate in the work of the committee. Whether it is an official or unofficial international organization, it can also participate in the work after contacting ISO. ISO maintains close collaboration with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in the field of electrotechnical standardization. The draft international standard adopted by the technical committee shall be submitted to the member bodies for voting. The draft can only be published as an international standard after it is agreed by at least 75% of the member bodies participating in the vote. The international standard ISO161-1 was drafted by the ISO/TC138 Technical Committee on Plastic Pipes, Fittings and Valves for Fluid Transportation. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition (ISO161-1:1978) which has been technically revised. IS()161, under the general title "Thermoplastic Pipes for Fluid Transportation - Nominal Outside Diameters and Nominal Pressures", includes the following parts: Part 1: Metric Series - Part 2: Imperial Series Appendix A to this part of IS161-1 is a suggestive appendix. 1 Scope National Standard of the People's Republic of China Thermoplastics pipes for the conveyance of fluids--Nominal outside diameters and nominal pressures Thermoplastics pipes for the conveyance of fluids--Nominal outside diameters and nominal pressuresGB/T 4217—2001 idt IsO 161-1:1996 Replaces GB/T 4217·--1984 This standard specifies the nominal outside diameters of thermoplastics pipes for the conveyance of pressurized and non-pressurized fluids, and specifies the nominal pressure, minimum required strength and overall service (design) factor of pressurized thermoplastics pipes. This standard is applicable to thermoplastics pipes with circular cross-section and smooth inner and outer walls, manufactured by various processing methods and materials. 2 Referenced Standards The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. At the time of publication of this standard, the versions shown are valid. All standards are subject to revision, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards. GB/T321-1980 Priority numbers and priority number systems GB/T18475--2001 Material classification and naming for thermoplastic pressure pipes and fittings Overall use (design) factors (eqvIS012162:1995) 3 Definitions This standard adopts the following definitions. 3.1 Nominal outside diameter dn A number used to indicate size. In thermoplastic pipe systems, it applies to all thermoplastic pipe system components except flanges and components indicated by thread sizes. For ease of reference, integers are used. Note: The nominal outside diameter is the minimum average outside diameter demmin specified in the pipe product standard, in mm. 3.2 Outside diameter d. 3.2.1 Average outside diameter, dem: Divide the actual measured outer circumference of the pipe by yuan and round to the nearest 0.1mm. 3.2.2 Minimum average outside diameter, dem.min: The minimum value of the average outside diameter specified in the pipe product standard, equal to the nominal outside diameter d.. The unit is mm. 3.3 Pressure 3.3.1 Nominal pressure PN: A reference mark related to the mechanical properties of the piping system components. It is selected from the R10 series of convenient numbers in GB/T321. 3.3.2 Maximum allowable working pressure PpMs: The allowable pressure of the pipe determined after considering the overall use (design) factor C, in MPa. 3.4 Confidence lower limit aLCL: A stress value used to evaluate material performance, which refers to the confidence lower limit of the predicted long-term hydrostatic strength of the material under 20C50 years of internal water pressure with a confidence level of 97.5%, in MPa. 3.5 Minimum required strength MRS: The value of the confidence lower limit 1.cL rounded down according to the R10 or R20 series of GB/T321. When 0i.L is less than 10MPa, it is rounded to R10, and when aicL is greater than or equal to 10MPa, it is rounded to R20. MRS is the hoop stress value in MPa. Approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China on October 24, 2001 and implemented on May 1, 2002 GB/T 4217--2001 3.6 Overall use (design) factor (: A value greater than 1, its size takes into account the use conditions and other factors of the piping system accessories other than the factors included in the lower confidence limit. The minimum value of C for a specific material is specified in GB/T18475. 3.7 Design stress as: The allowable stress under specified conditions, which is obtained by dividing MRS by the overall use (design) factor C, rounded to the nearest integer according to R20 of GB/T321, in MPa. MRS 3.8 Standard dimension ratio SDR: The ratio of the nominal outer diameter of the pipe to the nominal wall thickness. SDR can be calculated by the following two formulas: 2×MRS+1 C× ppms 2×s+1 Where: MRS- Minimum required strength, MPa; Maximum allowable working pressure, MPa COverall use (design) factor; Design stress, MPa. .(1) (3) Given the value of SDR, using MRS and C specified in the product standard, the maximum allowable working pressure PPMS can be calculated using any of the following formulas 2× MRS PPMs = c×(SDR-1) + 1 PPMs = (SDR - 1) (4) 3.9 Hydrostatic stress α: The stress on the pipe wall when the pipe is filled with pressurized liquid, in MPa. Its relationship with pressure, wall thickness and outer diameter: Hydrostatic pressure, MPa; Where:---- Outer diameter of the pipe, mm; -Wall thickness of the pipe, mm. 4Nominal outer diameter d The nominal outer diameter should be selected from Table 1. 5Nominal pressure level PN The nominal pressure level should be selected from Table 2. Nominal outer diameter allowable value d. ·(6) GB/T4217--2001 Table 2 Nominal pressure level PN (corresponding to maximum allowable working pressure PPMs) pPMs Note: If a higher nominal pressure is required, it should be selected from the R5 series or R20 series in GB/T321. 6 Minimum required strength MRS The minimum required strength should be selected from Table 3. wwW.bzxz.Net Minimum required strength allowable value MRS Note: The values from 1 to 10 are selected from the R10 series in GB/T321 (increment 25%), and the values greater than 10 are selected from the R20 series in GB/T321 (increment 12%).
