4 Product Classification
Product Code
4.1 Book products are divided into two categories: hardcover and paperback. Hardcover is hard cover and grooved, and others are paperback. 4.2 The paper should be writing paper and offset paper of not less than 60g/m2, and the illustrations should be offset printing coated paper or offset paper of not less than 80g/m2. 4.3 The opening of books in various places is based on the standard base paper size of 787mm×1092mm, and the product size is specified in accordance with the enterprise standard. The maximum deviation of the inner core size of each opening type is not more than ±1.5mm for first-class products and not more than ±2.0mm for qualified products. 5 Technical requirements
5.1 Product specifications and dimensions shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3. Approved by the Ministry of Light Industry of the People's Republic of China on February 21, 1992 126
Implemented on August 1, 1992
5.2 Paper quantity shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.2
QB/T 1438—1992
5.3 Products are divided into first-class products and qualified products according to the technical indicators. 5.4 The cover shall be flat, clean, with complete text and clear patterns. Overprint deviation: not more than 0.5mm for first-class products and not more than 0.8mm for qualified products.
5.5 The back of the book shall be consistent with the inner core.
5.6 The parallel deviation between the groove and the back of the book shall not exceed 2.0mm for first-class products and not more than 2.5mm for qualified products. 5.7
The core pages of the inner core shall not be reversed.
See Table 2 for the technical requirements of the inner core.

6.2 Paper quantity: measured according to the provisions of GB/T451.26.3 Cover: Under 8W fluorescent light, at a distance of 250mm, visual inspection. Overprint deviation is measured with a steel ruler with a graduation value of 0.5mm. 6.4 The back of the book matches the inner core, rounded corners, the core pages of the inner core, and the white pages: visual inspection. 6.5 The deviation between the groove and the back is parallel: put the back of the book against a vertical plane, and use a steel ruler with a graduation value of 0.5mm to measure the distance from the groove at the upper and lower ends to the vertical plane, and calculate the deviation value. 6.6 The core pages of the inner core are reversed: visual inspection.
6.7 Page number error of the inner core of the book: adopt the counting method. 6.8 Detection of two-sided threading, broken lines, torn pages, white pages, dirt, and rounded corners: Under 8W fluorescent light, at a distance of 250mm, visually inspect or measure with a steel ruler with a graduation value of 0.5mm.
6.9 Bleaching: Use a steel ruler with a graduation value of 0.5mm to measure the distance between the core and the two ends of one side of the cover, and calculate the deviation value. 6.10 Whiteness of paper for inner core: Use a whiteness meter to measure the blue light whiteness value. 127
