3 Terms and definitions
GB/T3291.1, GB/T4146.1, GB/T5708-2001, GB/T5709-1997, GB/T8683-2009, GB/T10113 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document. For ease of use, some terms and definitions in GB/T5708-2001, GB/T5709-1997 and GB/T8683--2009 are repeated below. 3.1
Textile fabrics
A collection of sheets (or sheets after unfolding) composed of fibers, yarns, or fibers and yarns in a certain pattern. According to the different knotting and processing principles, textile fabrics can be divided into woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics and other textile fabrics. According to the different raw materials used, textile fabrics can be divided into cotton textile fabrics, wool textile fabrics, linen textile fabrics, silk textile fabrics, chemical fiber textile fabrics, etc. 3.2
woven fabrics
Woven fabrics
Usually, a group of warp yarns and a group of weft yarns are perpendicular to each other, interwoven on a loom according to a certain pattern. [GB/T8683-2009, definition 2.1]
Knitted fabrics
A general term for a type of fabric formed by at least one group of yarn systems forming loops and being interlaced with each other. [GB/T5708—2001, definition 2.1]
Nonwoven
5nonwoven
Sheets, webs or batts made by directional or random fibers being bonded together by friction, cohesion or adhesion or a combination of these methods. Paper, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, tufted fabrics, stitched fabrics with stitched yarns and wet-felt felt products are not included. GB/T22970—2010
The fibers used can be natural fibers or chemical fibers; they can be short fibers, filaments or fibrous materials formed on the spot. Note 1: The difference between wet-laid nonwoven fabrics and wet-laid papermaking is that nonwoven fabrics should meet one of the following conditions: a) The fibers with an aspect ratio greater than 300 (excluding chemically cooked plant fibers) account for more than 50% of the total mass; b) The fibers with an aspect ratio greater than 300 (excluding chemically cooked plant fibers) account for only more than 30% of the total mass, but their density is less than 0.40g/cm2.
Note 2: Viscose fibers are not chemically cooked plant fibers. [GB/T5709-1997, definition 2.3.1]

textilefabricscharacteristicstextilefabricscharacteristics represents the basic and main characteristics of textile fabrics. 3.8
series alignment-sequencecode divides the sequence code into several series (groups) and corresponds to the series (groups) of the coded objects, and assigns a certain sequence code to each series (group) of the coded objects.
characteristic combination codecharacteristicscomhinationai code is a code composed of the basic code segments representing the characteristics of things or concepts in a certain order. 4 Coding principles and methods
4.1 Coding principles
textile fabric coding should comply with the requirements of GB/T7027; it should be unique, reasonable, extensible, concise, applicable and standardized.
4.2 Coding method
Textile fabric coding adopts a fully digital composite code, which is composed of a name code and an attribute code. 4.2.1
Textile fabric name code adopts a 5-digit series petal sequence code N, N2NN, Ns: N is used to distinguish the types of textile fabrics. According to different structures and processing principles, fabrics are coded by series; a)
NzNsN,Ns is a sequence code, arranged in ascending order, starting from "0001" and up to "9999". The attribute code of textile fabrics uses a 12-digit feature combination code XX12 to select basic attributes of fabrics that can be measured and verified. The number of digits and the order of arrangement of the attribute code are fixed: b)
The number of digits of the attribute code is set according to the capacity of the attribute value, and a certain margin is left; the order of arrangement of the attribute code is set according to the process sequence from fiber (yarn), or fiber and yarn formation to textile fabrics;
The attribute value code is set from The code starts with the effective number "1", "01", and ends with "9", "99"; c) The attribute value code is "0", "00", which acts as a filler; the attribute value code is "9", "99" to indicate the containment class. 5 Code structure
5.1 Structure framework
GB/T22970—2010
The textile fabric code consists of 17 digits, of which 5 are the fabric name code and 12 are the fabric attribute code. The schematic diagram of the textile fabric code structure framework is shown in Figure 1,

Name code
The textile fabric name code is represented by N, N, NN, Ns, where NNNNs are encoded in sequence. See Figure 2 for a schematic diagram of the textile fabric name code structure.

The raw materials that usually account for more than 50% are the main raw materials of textile fabrics. When the proportion of raw materials used is less than 50%, the raw material with a larger proportion is the main raw material; when the proportion of raw materials is the same, the raw material that affects the characteristics or performance of textile fabrics is the main raw material; when the proportion of raw materials is small, but can directly affect the characteristics or performance of textile fabrics, the raw material is the main raw material of the fabric. When the proportion of multiple chemical fibers in the raw materials is the same, the description is that the synthetic fiber is in front and the artificial fiber is in the back. The main raw material code table is shown in Table 3.
