This standard specifies the basic dimension series of narrow cabinets, narrow racks, plug-in boxes and plug-ins with a height of 44.45mm and a panel width of less than 482.6mm. This standard is mainly applicable to communication equipment installed in narrow cabinets or narrow racks. It is also applicable to other types of electronic equipment installed in cabinets or racks with a panel width of less than 482.6mm. All structural drawings in this standard are structural schematic diagrams. GB/T3047.8—1996 With the improvement of the integration of core components and the development of modular design, the trend of electronic equipment cabinets developing towards narrow and small spaces is very obvious. At the same time, with the improvement of the reliability of electronic components, the method of using the whole machine or extension backup to improve the reliability of electronic equipment has gradually been eliminated. Since the 1960s, the cabinets of foreign communication equipment have gradually shrunk proportionally from the traditional 482.6mm (19\) series cabinets. National standard GB3017 is a series of dimensional standards for the structural design of electrical and electronic equipment. Among them, GB3047.2& Basic Dimension Series of Panels, Racks and Cabinets with a Height System of 44.45mm, GB3047.4& Basic Dimension Series of Plug-in Boxes and Plug-ins with a Height System of 11.15mm, GB3047.6 Basic Dimension Series of Electronic Equipment Desktop Cases are formulated with reference to the IEC297 series of standards and are applicable to the structural design of electronic equipment. The above three national standards all use a unified height system (44.45mm) and width increment (5.08mm), which is also consistent with the IEC.297 series standard. This standard is based on the 182.61nm (19\) series cabinets. It also uses 44.45mm as the height system and 5.08mm as the width increment. This standard and the three national standards GB 3047.2, GB 3017.4, GB 3047.6 together constitute a complete series of dimensional standards for electronic equipment structural design. The plug-in boxes specified in this standard can fully meet the requirements of the "frame" specified in GH3047.2, GB3047.4, and GB3017.6 standards. This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Comprehensive Standardization of Electrical and Electronic Equipment Structures. The drafting unit of this standard is the Standardization Institute of the Ministry of Electronics Industry. The main drafters of this standard are Feng Changyou, Xu Bolin, Zhang Jiuan, Lai Wanshun, and Guan Defu. 1 Scope National Standard of the People's Republic of China Narrow cabinets with a height of 44.45mm Basic dimension series Series of basic dimension of narrowcabinets far vertical increment of 44.45mm GB/T 3047.8-1996 This standard specifies the basic size series of narrow cabinets, narrow racks, plug-in boxes and plug-ins with a height of 44.45mm and a panel width of less than 482.6mm. This standard is mainly applicable to communication equipment installed in narrow cabinets or narrow racks. It is also applicable to other types of electronic equipment installed in racks or racks with a panel width of less than 482.6mm. All structural drawings in this standard are structural schematic diagrams. 2 Referenced standards The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard.
