This standard is applicable to the determination of moisture content of continuous casting mold powder at 110℃. 2 Method summary Weigh a certain mass of sample and place it in a drying oven, dry it to a constant weight at 110℃, and the mass fraction of the lost mass to the mass of the sample before drying is taken as the moisture content. 3 Reagents 3.1 Color-changing silica gel: industrial pure. 3.2 Anhydrous calcium chloride: chemically pure, granular, 3.3 Molecular sieve: industrial pure. 4 Instruments and equipment 4.1 The drying box is equipped with an automatic temperature control device, and the temperature can be controlled at 105℃~110℃; 4.2 The weighing bottle is 40mm in diameter and 25mm in height, and is equipped with a tightly sealed ground-mouth bottle; 4.3 The desiccator is filled with color-changing silica gel or granular anhydrous calcium chloride; 4.4 The sensitivity of the analytical balance is 0.0001g. 5 Sample 5.1 Any continuous casting protective slag can be directly used as a weighing sample. 5.2 Sample weight: 50g~100g, accurate to 0.01g. 5.3 Sampling should be done using a ground-mouth bottle or a multi-layer waterproof protective sample bag. 6 Test steps 6.1 Take out the weighing bottle that has been dried to a constant weight from the desiccator, quickly weigh 4g~5g of the sample and put it into the weighing bottle, and immediately cover the bottle cap. 6.2 Open the weighing bottle containing the sample and place it in a drying oven at 105℃~110℃ for 3h~4h. Take out the weighing bottle. Immediately cover it with the lid and place it in a desiccator to cool to room temperature and weigh it. Place the weighed sample in the drying oven for another hour and weigh it. If the difference between the two masses is within 0.3mg, it is considered to be completely dried. Otherwise, repeat the drying. Each time for 1h until the difference between the two consecutive masses is within 0.3mg, and the last mass is used for calculation. Result calculation The moisture content (%) of the sample is calculated according to formula (1): Where: G—mass of the sample before drying, in g. G,—mass of the sample after drying, in g. 8 1×100 The difference between two test results shall not exceed the provisions of Table 1. Table 1 Mass fraction of moisture 9Test report The test report shall include the following contents: a) entrusting unit; b) sample name; c) sample date; d) testing unit; e) test results; f) tester; g) auditor.
