GH/T8446 "Heat sink for power semiconductor devices" is divided into three parts: Part 1, Casting kind series, Part 2: Test methods for thermal resistance and flow resistance, Part 3: Insulation and fasteners.
This part is the first part of GB/T8446.
This part replaces GH/T8446.1-1687 "Heat sink for power semiconductor devices". The main changes of this part compared with GB3/T8446.1-1987 are as follows: GB/T B446.1-2004
-——The writing rules of the standard basis have changed greatly. GB/T8446.1-1987 is based on GB.1-1987. This part is based on GR/T 1.1-2000;
According to the requirements of GB/T1.1-2000, the foreword, "Scope" and "Normative customary documents" are added, and the additional instructions are deleted. The "clause level" is added;
The scope of application is expanded. It was originally only applicable to casting heat sinks, but it was expanded to also apply to single-material heat sinks (the scope of application of the 1987 edition and 11; the first paragraph of this edition Chapter 4.1)\ The "Explanation of Terms" (reference document) originally included in Appendix C is now Chapter 3 "Terms and Definitions", and the English names of the terms are supplemented and some purple text processing is done (Appendix C of the 1987 version is Chapter 3 of this version), and SF18 (A), SS15 and SS16 heat sinks and their corresponding dimensions and parameter indicators are added (4.3, 5.3.5.4 and 6, 3):
- Delete the SP series of self-cooling fin radiators and the corresponding dimensions, parameter indicators and other contents (1.3, 2.1 and 3.3.3 of 1987): - The maximum allowable value of the surface roughness of the conductive bar of the SF series and SS series has been changed from 10μm to 6.3μIn (Figures 10 to 12 of the 1987 edition; Figures 9 to 11 of this edition);
The maximum allowable value of the surface roughness of the radiator table has been changed from 2.5μm to 1.6um (Figure 3.1.3 of the 1987 edition; 6.1.3 of this edition) ;
The D. size of SF17 and SF17A has been changed from 150mm to 140mm (Table 10 of 2.3 of 1987 edition; Table 9 of 5.3 of this edition)
~The original H. size of SF series and SS series heat sinks is related to the height of the device, and is now changed to the commercial size of a heat sink (2.3 and 2.4 of 1987 edition; 5.3 and 5.4 of this edition). The original "SZ and SL series size" includes eight sub-strips, which are now modified to "SZ and SL series conductive sheet size" and "SZ and SL series heat sink size", and each has three sub-strips and four sub-strips (2.21 of 1987 edition, 5.3 of this edition). 1 and 5.2)
Flat plate heat sink cathode insulation withstand voltage: the original air and water cooling heat sinks are both 8kV. This part of GB/T8446 The definition of terms, type and size, technical requirements, inspection rules and marking, packaging and other requirements of heat sinks are specified.
This part is applicable to cast (including extruded) heat sinks with thermal resistance between 7.5℃/W and 0.01℃/W for power semiconductor devices. Profile heat sinks whose dimensions and installation dimensions conform to the provisions of Section 5 of this part can be used without limitation: this part does not apply to heat pipe heat sinks. 2 Normative references

Heat sink (for power semiconductor devices) heaEsink (For power semiconductor devices) is a set of mechanical components composed of heat sink, conductive terminals, fasteners and insulating parts (if any), which has the function of heat dissipation for power semiconductor devices.
