Codabar code is a non-continuous, non-fixed-length, bidirectional bar code with self-checking function. It consists of killing characters and corresponding characters for human recognition.
3.1 Composition
The Kudaba barcode consists of a left blank area, a start symbol, a data symbol, a terminator and a left blank area. Each barcode character consists of seven units, four bar units and three space units, of which two or three units are wide units (represented by binary "1"), and the rest are narrow units (represented by binary "0"), see Figure 1A123456788
Figure 1 shows the barcode of \A12345678B\
3.2 Character set
The Kudaba barcode character set is as follows:

b. Letters
Special characters

Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on May 17, 1991 and implemented on January 1, 1992
3.3 Characters, barcode characters and binary representation GB/T 12907-91
3.3.1 The characters and barcode characters of Codabar barcode have no binary representation. See Table 1 Table 1 Comparison table of characters, barcode characters and binary representation Characters

3.3.2 A, B, C, D! are used as the start and end characters, and their selection can be combined arbitrarily. 3.3.3 When AB, C, D are used as the end characters, they can also be replaced by T, N, *, E respectively. 4 Technical requirements
4.1 Density, size and tolerance of bar code symbols - inverse expression
4.1.7 Density
Depending on the resolution of the scanner and the requirements of printing error, the density of the bar code symbol can vary within a certain range, see Table 2. Table 2 Density, size and allowable error of Kubacode symbol Narrowest unit width bzxZ.net
4.1.2 Size

Bar and space size of high-density Kubacode symbol Bar2
4.1.2.2 The sizes given in Table 3 can be appropriately enlarged, see Table 2. 4.1.2.3 The size of the bar code character spacing should be less than or equal to 1.27 mm. 4.1.2.4 See Appendix A for variants of Kubacode symbol. 3
0, 165
4.1.2.5 The bar height of the bar code symbol is variable, and its minimum bar height should be 15% of the bar code symbol length, but not less than 6.4mm. 4.1.2.6 The minimum width of the blank area should be 10 times the width of the largest unit of the bar code symbol, but not less than 2.5mm. For bar code symbols read by handheld optical scanners, the width of the blank area shall not be less than 6.4mm. 4.1.3 Allowable error of bar (space) width || tt || 4.1.3.1 The allowable error of the bar (space) width of the highest precision Codabar bar code symbol is ± 0.038mm 4.1.3.2 The size of the error is proportional to the bar (space) width, see Table 2. 4.2 Reflectivity || tt || 4.2.1 Measurement method || tt || The reflectivity is measured using light with a peak wavelength of 633nm and a bandwidth equal to or less than 120nm (relative to 50% of the peak value) as the light source. The incident light should be The reflected light should be collected within a range of 15° from the normal line of the measuring surface. The diameter of the light spot of the measuring instrument shall not exceed 0.8 of the narrowest unit width. 4.2.2 Reflectivity requirements
4.2.2.1 Minimum reflectivity of space
a. For barcode symbols with a narrowest unit width greater than 0.508mm, the reflectivity RL of the space should be greater than 25%. b. For barcode symbols with a narrowest unit width equal to or less than D.508mm, the reflectivity R1 of the space should be greater than 50%. 4.2.2.2 Maximum reflectivity of barcodes
GB/T 12907—91
The maximum reflectivity of the strip, R is a function of the empty reflectivity, see Table 4. The minimum ratio of R to is 4.0. Table 4 Reflectivity Allowable Values of Strips
Reflectivity
4.2.2.3 PCS Value
R. — Rp
The definition of PCS value is: PCS=
The minimum PCS value is 75%.
4.3 Stains and Deinking
Stains and deinking shall meet the following requirements
E. Stains and deinking shall not exceed the diameter of a circle 0.4 times the width of the narrowest unit; the maximum reflectivity of the strip
b. Stains and deinking shall not exceed 25% of the area within a circle 0.8 times the width of the narrowest unit. 4. 4 Characters for human identification
Characters for human identification should preferably use OCR-A character set or OCR-B character set. Any character with a deviation of not less than 2.38 mm can be used. 5 Technical indicators of original film
The allowable error of the bar (space) width in the original film of the barcode symbol is 5% of the permissible error of printing (generally controlled within the range of 0.005-0.013 mm).
6 Quality assurance
6.1 Inspection of original film
Inspection of barcode symbols on original film should include: checking information decoding, whether the bar (space) width meets the allowable error of film size. 6.2 Inspection of barcode symbol prints
Inspection of barcode symbol prints should include: checking information decoding, PCS value and reflectivity, size error is to meet the requirements of technical standards. Body.

Appendix A
Variants of Codabar
(Supplement)
Some equipment, such as dot matrix printers, cannot print the high-density Codabar barcode symbols of this standard. Codabar barcode variants can be used. Codabar barcode variants have only two width units, narrow units and wide units. In this Codabar barcode variant, all narrow units have equal widths and all wide units have equal widths. The allowable error T of bars and spaces is calculated by formula (A1) T=±55N-8)
W-narrow unit width, mm
NRatio of wide unit to wide unit width.
W value should be between 2 and 3. When the narrow unit width is less than 0.508mm, W value should be greater than 2.2. The barcode character spacing should be selected between 1 and 3 times the narrow unit width.
