If the thickness of the test material is greater than 5mm, keep the original size in the thickness direction when sampling, and the size of any other direction shall not exceed 5mm; b. For honeycomb sandwich structures, separate the face plate and the core first, and then prepare the samples separately according to the provisions of Article 3.1; c. For multi-layer structures, when the overall resin content is required, prepare the sample according to Articles 3.1 and 3.3 a: When the resin content of each structural layer needs to be determined, use the layered peeling method to take samples. When peeling is difficult, the sample can be filed into a powdery form to avoid mixing between layers. Place in the desiccator for at least 24 hours; b. Dry at 80℃ for 2 hours and then place in the desiccator to cool to room temperature ec.coi 5.3 Heat the glass in a Mofu furnace at 625±20℃ for 10-20 minutes, then place in a desiccator, cool to room temperature, weigh, and be accurate to 0.1mg. Repeat this operation until the difference between two consecutive weighing results does not exceed 1mg. 5.4 Place the pretreated sample in a crucible and weigh it to an accuracy of 0.1mg. 5.5 Place the crucible containing the sample in a Mofu furnace and heat it to 350-400℃: keep the temperature constant for 30 minutes, then heat it to 625±20℃ or the selected temperature, and keep the temperature constant until all the carbon disappears. Glass Test method for resin content in glass materials》 5.6 Take the crucible with the residue out of the Maufu furnace, put it into a desiccator, cool it to room temperature, and weigh it to an accuracy of 0.1 mg. 5.7 Repeat the burning, constant temperature, cooling, and weighing until the difference between two consecutive weighing results does not exceed 1 mg. Lou 2577-1989 Page 7 5 Calculation The resin content is calculated according to the following formula: Wr=m2-m3/m2-mlX100 inoaec.com Where: Wr resin content, %; ml-the mass of the crucible, g; m2-the total mass of the crucible and the sample, g; m3-the total mass of the crucible and the residue after burning, g. Note: The resin content calculated by the above formula includes the impregnating agent of the reinforcing material and a small amount of low molecular weight substances that can be burned. If necessary, a blank test can be used for correction.
