China and the world's major maritime trade port code GB/T15514-1998 Code of ports of the People's Republic of China and related locations 3 Principles and structure of digital code compilation 3,1 Administrative division digital code (abbreviated as digital code) has a one-layer six-layer code structure, the next layer represents the provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities, special administrative regions), cities (regions, prefectures, leagues), counties (counties) 3.2 The meaning of the code structure from left to right is: the first layer, that is, the first two codes represent provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, and special administrative regions. The second layer, that is, the middle two codes represent cities, autonomous prefectures, municipal districts/reclamation codes under the jurisdiction of municipalities directly under the central government, and the administrative division summary codes of counties directly under the jurisdiction of provinces (autonomous regions), among which: -01~~20, 51-~70 represent cities, 01.02 is also used to represent the summary codes of municipal districts and counties under the jurisdiction of municipalities directly under the central government; 21~50 Indicates regions, prefectures, leagues: 90 indicates the summary code of the county-level administrative divisions directly under the province (prefecture-level region). The third level, i.e. the last two digits, indicates the county-level city, banner, banner, city-administered district, forest area, special zone, among which: -01~20 indicates the city-administered district, county-level city under the jurisdiction of the prefecture (prefecture-level region, league), city-administered special zone, and county-level city under the jurisdiction of the county-level administrative division directly under the province (prefecture-level region); 01 usually indicates the summary code of the city-administered district: 21~80 indicates the county, autonomous county, banner, autonomous banner forest area, special zone under the jurisdiction of the prefecture; -81~99 indicates the county-level city under the jurisdiction of the province (autonomous region), 3.3 To ensure the uniqueness of the digital code, the digital code that is cancelled due to the change of the national administrative division will no longer be assigned to other administrative divisions. 4.1 The alphabetic code of administrative divisions (abbreviated as letters) follows the scientific, unified and practical coding principles, and refers to the Roman alphabet of the names of administrative divisions above the county, and takes the corresponding alphabetic code. 4.2 The alphabetical codes of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and special administrative regions shall be represented by two capital letters. 4.3 Cities, regions, autonomous prefectures, leagues, counties and Baizhi counties. The alphabetic codes for county-level cities, banners, autonomous banners, urban districts, forest areas, and special zones are indicated by three capital letters. 4.4 The alphabetic codes for some administrative divisions adopt the alphabetic codes in GB/T15514-1998 or GB/T7407-1997, which are marked with an asterisk in the code table. 4.5 The Romanization of the names of administrative divisions generally adopts the Romanization of Chinese place names; however, when the names of administrative divisions are named in Mongolian, Uygur, or Tibetan, the Romanization of the names of administrative divisions shall follow the corresponding transliteration regulations of ethnic languages and be marked with an asterisk in the code table; the Romanization of the names of Taiwan Province, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Macao Special Administrative Region shall follow the relevant national regulations. When the name of an administrative division contains an ethnic transliteration, the alphabetic spelling of the ethnic name shall follow GB/T3304-199! 5 Code table 5.1 The codes of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and special administrative regions are shown in Table 1. 5.2 The code table of each province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government) is shown in Table 2-325.3 The code table of Taiwan Province is temporarily unavailable. 5.4 The code table of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao
