Requirements for metal surface before painting
The surface quality of castings and forgings before painting shall comply with the provisions of casting and forging product standards. Welding slag, coating, 3.1
Splash and flash and burrs remaining from machining are not allowed on the surface of welded structural parts. 3.2 Before painting castings, shot blasting, sand blasting or other methods should be used to remove oxide scale, molding sand and dirt on the painted surface. 3.3 The rust removal grade of the surface of steel parts shall not be lower than Sa2 or St2 grade specified in GB8923. 4 Technical requirements for painting
The time interval between the surface treatment of the painted parts and the application of primer shall not exceed 6 hours. The paint film should be flat, smooth to the touch, without any missing paint, paint liquid accumulation, etc. 4.1
4.2 The coating thickness should generally meet the following requirements: a.
~ General coating 80~100um;
Decorative coating 100~150um
Protective coating 150~200um;
Marine environment coating containing salt spray 200~250μm. d.
4.3 The surfaces of riveted parts in contact with each other must be coated with a primer with a thickness of 30~40um before connection. Primers damaged by processing and welding should be re-sprayed
4.4 Parts and components that have been stored for a long time should be re-surfaced and re-coated with primer if the primer peels off or rusts. Approved by the Ministry of Machinery Industry on June 16, 1995
Implementation on July 1, 1996
JB/T7663.2-95
4.5 Local depressions on the outer surface of castings should be filled with well-matched room-temperature chemical curing putty. Putty should be scraped in several times, and the scraping should be repeated after the upper layer of putty is dry, and the scraping shape shall prevail. Air-cooled cylinders and cylinder heads should not be puttyed. 4.6 The environment for painting should be clean, well ventilated, well lit, uniform in brightness, and the temperature should be 7-40C; the quality grade of compressed air for painting should comply with the provisions of Appendix A of GB/T13277. 4.7 When spraying topcoat, if the relative vapor pressure of the working environment is greater than 80%, a moisture-proof agent should be added or other measures should be taken to prevent the paint film from turning white. The spraying of the next coat of paint should be carried out after the previous coat of paint is dry. Note: 1) Generally, the relative humidity is measured by a dry and mixed ball thermometer. 4.8
Decorative topcoat should be sprayed before the compressor is packaged. Pressure vessel painting shall be in accordance with the provisions of JB2536. 4.9
When the surface of the air cavity needs to be painted, the paint should not react chemically with the compressed medium. When there are special requirements for compressor painting, it shall be in accordance with the provisions of the agreement or contract. The painting of other parts of the compressor shall be in accordance with the provisions of Appendix A (reference part). 4.12
The paint layer should be flat, and the paint film should have uniform color and consistent gloss. The glossiness of the paint film shall be measured in accordance with GB1743. 4.13
The appearance of the paint film must be clean, without obvious protruding particles and adhesion. The joint surfaces of parts and components shall have clear and obvious dividing lines (except for the whole machine 4.14
painted). Obvious defects such as dents, scratches, sagging, blistering, and whitening are not allowed. The paint film must adhere firmly. Paints of different colors shall not be contaminated with each other. The film adhesion shall be measured in accordance with GB1720 and shall be not less than level 44.15
or in accordance with GB9286 and shall be not less than level 3. 5 Paint materials
The paint, putty and thinner used shall be compatible. 5.1
The quality of the paint material shall comply with the provisions of the relevant standards of the chemical industry. 5.2
Paint materials that have exceeded their validity period shall not be used, except for those whose quality and technical indicators have passed the re-inspection. 5.3
Whenever new paint materials are selected, test pieces identical to the actual coating of the compressor shall be made, and the test piece preparation shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB1727. The mixed heat resistance 5.4
test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB1740, and the oil resistance test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB1739. 6 Paint color
The paint color of each part of the compressor outer surface shall be in accordance with the provisions of the design documents or the contract, but the color of the whole machine shall be beautiful and harmonious. 6.1
The spokes and spokes of the exposed moving parts such as couplings, flywheels and pulleys shall be painted red, and the safety valve shall be painted in a color different from the compressor surface. 6.2
6.3The main purchased accessories (motors, electric control cabinets, etc.) of large and medium-sized compressors do not need to be re-sprayed with topcoat, but the color tone shall be harmonious with the main engine topcoat.
The color of the main purchased parts of micro and small compressors shall be coordinated with the main engine topcoat color, except as specified in the drawings. 7 Paint inspection rules
7.1 The color, gloss and appearance of the paint film of large and medium compressors shall be inspected one by one in accordance with the provisions of Articles 4.13 and 4.14. Multiple repair painting is allowed.
7.2 The color, gloss and appearance of the paint film of micro and small compressors shall be sampled in accordance with the provisions of Articles 4.13 and 4.14, and the number of samples shall be 10% of the same paint batch, but not less than 5 units. Multiple repair painting is allowed. 7.3 The paint film adhesion rate and solidity of the compressor shall be sampled in accordance with the provisions of Article 4.15, and the number of samples shall be 5% of the same paint batch, but not less than 3 units. If unqualified, another 10% but not less than 5 units may be sampled for re-inspection. If still unqualified, re-paint. 7.4 The compressors and their parts and components sprayed with paint that has been fully mixed and evenly distributed in the same paint container constitute the same paint batch. 2
