Introduction to standards:

This standard specifies the water quality index, water quality classification, standard limit, water quality inspection and supervision and implementation of drinking water sources. This standard applies to the water quality of urban and rural centralized drinking water sources (including the water sources of drinking water prepared by each unit). The water quality of decentralized drinking water sources should also be used as a reference. Standard limit
≤10.000
3.1First-level water source: good water quality. Groundwater only needs disinfection treatment, and surface water can be used for drinking after simple purification treatment (such as filtration) and disinfection.
3.2Second-level water source: water quality is slightly polluted. After conventional purification treatment (such as flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, etc.), its water quality can meet the requirements of GB5749 and can be used for drinking. 3.3 Water source water with water quality concentration exceeding the second-level standard limit is not suitable as a source of drinking water. If it is necessary to use it due to limited conditions, it should be treated with corresponding purification technology. The treated water quality should meet the requirements of GB5749 and obtain approval from the provincial, municipal and autonomous region health departments (bureaus) and competent departments.
Standard limit
The water quality of drinking water sources should not exceed the limit specified in Table 1. 4.1
4.2 If the water source contains harmful substances not listed in Table 1, relevant regulations shall be followed. 5 Water quality inspection
5.1 The water quality inspection method shall be implemented in accordance with GB5750. The inspection method for beryllium shall be implemented in accordance with GB8161. The inspection method for chlorothalonil shall be implemented in accordance with GB11729.
CJ 3020--1993
This standard shall not be used based on a single instantaneous test value. For the used water source or when selecting a water source, samples shall be taken at least once a quarter for full analysis and inspection. 5.3
6 Supervision and implementation of standards
6.1 This standard shall be implemented by the relevant units such as urban and rural planning, design and drinking water supply. The competent departments of drinking water supply units and health departments shall be responsible for supervising and inspecting the implementation. 6.2 The public security, planning, health, environmental protection, water conservancy and shipping departments at all levels shall cooperate with the water supply units to do a good job in protecting the water source health protection zone in accordance with their respective duties.
Additional Notes:
This standard was proposed by the Standard and Norm Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction. This standard is managed by the China Municipal Engineering Central South Design Institute, the technical unit responsible for water quality standards of the Ministry of Construction. This standard was drafted by the China Municipal Engineering Central South Design Institute. The main drafters of this standard were Xu Guangyang and Jiang Yuntong. This standard was entrusted to the China Municipal Engineering Central South Design Institute for interpretation. 247
