This standard applies to sodium fluoride made by the reaction of oxyfluoric acid or silicic acid with sodium carbonate. It is mainly used for copper electrolysis, wood preservation and pesticides.
1 Technical requirements
1.1 Sodium fluoride is divided into three grades according to its chemical composition. %
Not less than
Note; ① "-" in the table means no regulation. ② The chemical composition in the table is calculated on the basis.
Sodium fluoride is a color-bearing powder.
Sulfate
Not more than
1.3 The product is allowed to have agglomerates with a diameter greater than 4mm, and its weight shall not exceed 5%. 2 Test methods and inspection rules
Insoluble matter in water
2.1 The product shall be inspected and accepted by the supplier's technical supervision department to ensure that the product quality meets the requirements of this standard. And fill in the quality certificate. 2.2 The weight of each batch shall not exceed 50t.
2.3 The buyer may carry out inspection and acceptance of the received products in accordance with the provisions of this standard Quality inspection shall be conducted. If the inspection result is inconsistent with the grade stated in the quality certificate, it may be raised to the supplier and the supply and demand parties shall negotiate to resolve the problem. If necessary, the supply and demand parties shall take samples according to 2.4.2 for arbitration analysis and re-determine the grade based on the arbitration analysis results.
2.4 The sampling method is as follows:
2.4.1 When the product is packaged, no less than 15g of samples shall be collected every 6 bags, and the total weight of each batch of samples shall be no less than 2kg. The samples shall be fully mixed and reduced to no less than 500g by quartering method, and divided into two parts, which shall be placed in clean and dry ground glass bottles, one for chemical analysis and one for future reference by the supplier's technical supervision department, and the storage period shall be no less than half a year. 2.4.2 Arbitration sampling: 1/12 to 1/10 of the number of bags in each batch shall be taken as sample bags (no less than 20 bags), and a copper tube probe with an inner diameter of 19 to 25mm shall be inserted into the 3/4 depth of the bag along the vertical center line of the bag to take samples. The total weight of the sample shall not be less than 2kg. Mix the sample thoroughly, reduce it to no less than 500g by quartering method, divide it into three parts, and pack it into ten clean and dry grinding glass bottles. One part is for arbitration analysis, and the rest is kept by the supplier and the buyer.

GB 4293-84
2.5 The arbitration analysis method shall be carried out in accordance with YB594-65 "Chemical Analysis Method of Sodium Fluoride". 3 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
3.1 Sodium fluoride is a toxic substance. In addition to the supplier name, product name, batch number and net weight, the packaging bag must also be marked with the word "toxic substance" or logo.
3.2 The product is packed in a packaging bag lined with plastic film and made of solid materials. The net weight of each bag is 50kg. 3.3
When transporting, the products must be packed in a clean covered wagon. Products of different grades must not be mixed. Products should be stored in a dry warehouse to avoid damage, contamination and moisture. Products must be stacked in batches. Each batch of products should be accompanied by a quality certificate, which should indicate: supplier name;
product name,
grade,
batch number,
weight or number of pieces,
results of various analysis tests and the stamp of the inspection department: this standard number
date of publication.
Additional remarks:
This standard was proposed by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation. This standard was drafted by Xiangxiang Aluminum Plant.
The main drafter of this standard is Wang Shuyuan.
From the date of implementation of this standard, the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry Standard YB593-65 "Sodium Fluoride" and the former Ministry of Chemical Industry Standard HG1016-61 "Sodium Fluoride" shall be invalid.
