Some standard content:
QB/T2213-1996
This standard is based on ISO2424:1992 (3rd edition) "Textile Floor Coverings Vocabulary", and adopts its classification and nomenclature part in a non-equivalent manner, to revise ZBW56003-1988 "Classification and Nomenclature of Carpet Products". The drafting and expression of this standard document is based on the requirements of GB/T1.1-1993 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Unit 1: Rules for Drafting and Expression of Standards Part 1: Basic Regulations for Standard Writing". With the rapid development of the machine-made carpet market, the variety of carpet products is constantly expanding, and the corresponding carpet classification and nomenclature and related terms need to be improved and unified. I. Explanation of the changes in important technical contents between this standard and ISO2424:1992 1. This standard is different from ISO2424:1992 in the principle of carpet product classification. ISO2424:1992 carpet classification is divided into two categories according to structure and function: pile carpet and non-pile carpet. Most of my country's carpet products are pile carpet. In addition, my country's handmade carpets have formed their own system for many years, so this standard classification is divided into two categories according to the different carpet processing methods: handmade carpet and machine-made carpet. 2. Classification and naming principles of this standard. All carpet products that have formed a certain production capacity in my country are included in the naming. Products that have been trial-produced in small quantities and products that are not produced in my country are generally not classified for the time being. For example: chenille Axminster carpets, flocked carpets, needle-sewn carpets, double-width bonded carpets, etc., supplemented by handmade tufted carpets and woven carpets. 3. This standard only includes carpet classification and naming and terms related to carpet structure. Terms such as pattern, color, laying, and applicability in ISO2424:1992 are not included in this standard. II. Explanation of the changes in important technical contents between this standard and ZBW56003-1988 1. In the classification and naming principles, the basic classification naming part is retained, the corresponding English words are added, the additional naming part is changed to general classification naming, and many new products are added. 2. In the handmade carpets, two varieties of handmade rope-knitted carpets and handmade rope-knitted carpets are deleted. In the machine-made carpets, three varieties of needle-stitched carpets, electrostatic flocking carpets and braided carpets are deleted. 3. The changes in the classification of Wilton carpets are as follows. ZBW56 003—1988

5. Supplemented Appendix A "Carpet Product Classification System Table", Appendix B "General Classification of Carpet Products" and Appendix C "Carpet Classification and Nomenclature Table". From the date of implementation of this standard, the professional standard ZBW56003-1988 "Carpet Product Classification and Nomenclature" issued by the former Ministry of Light Industry will be invalid. Appendix A of this standard is the appendix of the standard. Appendix B and Appendix C of this standard are both indicative appendices. This standard is proposed by the Quality Standards Department of the China Light Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Carpet Standardization Center. 1 Scope
Light Industry Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
Carpet Classification and Nomenclature
This standard specifies the classification and nomenclature of carpet products. This standard applies to handmade carpets and machine-made carpets in my country. 2 Definitions
This standard adopts the following definitions.
2.1 Carpet (textile floor covering) Carpetrug, textile floor covering Articles made of textile materials and usually used to cover the ground. 2.2 Use-surface
QB/T 2213--1996
Usually refers to the upper surface of the carpet, that is, the part that is directly stepped on or directly displays the carpet pattern and appearance style, and has a decorative effect. 2.3 Substrate
Combined with the carpet surface, it forms the lower layer necessary for the whole carpet. The structure composed of single or multi-layer materials is used to support the carpet surface, stabilize the carpet shape and size, and play a cushioning role. 2.4 Pile
The cut pile or loop pile part of the carpet surface is made of textile yarns or fibers protruding above the carpet base. 2.5 Tuft
A section of yarn in the shape of I, J, V, W or knotted, whose single or multiple upright pile bundles form the pile of the carpet. Note: Flocked and bonded carpets are not composed of tufts. 2.6 Loop
The continuous loop-shaped portion of yarn or fiber between the lowest points of two adjacent piles consolidated in the carpet base. 2.7 Cut pile
Carpet pile composed of upright parts of tufts or single fibers. 2.8 Loop pile
Carpet pile composed of loops.
2.9 Carpet with pile
Carpet with two layers of yarn or fiber protruding from the carpet base forming the carpet surface. 2.10 Carpet without pile Carpet without pile surface or with only a carpet base. 2.11 Primary backing A woven fabric or nonwoven fabric used as a carrier for the carpet surface to ensure that the carpet has sufficient tension and stability. The primary backing of tufted carpets should also be able to support a certain number of tuft rows.
2.12 Backing fabric A layer of fabric or other material is applied to the back of the carpet with an adhesive to form an additional stabilizing layer to fix the pile, giving it good shape retention, comfort, stiffness, etc., and forming the final layer of coating or fabric. Approved by China National Light Industry Association on March 22, 1996
Implemented on December 1, 1996
2.13 Chain warp
QB/T 2213—1996
It is a group of warps, which are usually used in pairs during the weaving process, crossing between the upper and lower wefts to consolidate them, while also binding the filling yarn and pile yarn.
2.14 Dead yarn
In jacquard Wilton carpets, the pile yarn that is not lifted by the jacquard mechanism and is laid flat in the carpet base (excluding all the yarns that form the pile and pile roots).
2.15 Stuffing yarn
The warp yarn used to reinforce and thicken the carpet base of woven carpets. 3 Product classification
3.1 Basic classification
Carpet products are divided into two major series (categories) according to different processing methods, namely handmade carpets and machine-made carpets. According to different carpet structures, they are divided into the following nine varieties. The classification system table is detailed in Appendix A (Standard Appendix). a) Hand-knotted carpet; b) Hand-made plain weave carpet; c) Hand-tufted carpet; d) woven carpet (Wilton carpet and Axminster carpet); e) Tufted carpet; f) Needled carpet; g) Knitted carpet; h) Bonded carpet i) Machine-knotted carpet. 3.2 General classification Carpet products are classified according to their uses, raw materials, special processing techniques and patterns. For details, see Appendix B (suggestive Appendix). 4 Classification and naming 4.1 Hand-made carpet Carpets made by hand and tools. 4.1.1 Hand-knotted carpet is a hand-knotted carpet made by manually tying the pile yarn between the warp threads of the carpet base in a pile knot (eight-shaped knot, horse knot, double knot, etc.).

Axminster carpet
During the weaving process, several colored pile yarns arranged in a predetermined order are planted between the warp and weft lines of the carpet base to form horizontal rows of pile tufts, which are then woven into a cut pile carpet.
a) Spool-Axminstercarpet On a loom, the pile yarns in each weft row are wound on their own bobbins according to the required pattern and color. The yarns are cut into the interlacing points of the weaving mouth of the carpet loom in sequence, and the carpet is woven by cutting the yarns, as shown in Figure 13: Carpet surface
1--Cut pile, 2-Chain warp; 3-Weft yarn 4-Filling warp Figure 13 Spool-Axminster carpet (longitudinal section) 52
QB/T 2213—1996
b) Gripper-Axminster carpet Carpet On a jacquard loom, the yarn gripper draws out the required pile yarn from the yarn lifter and then cuts it off. The yarn gripper then plants the pile yarn into the weft interlacing point at the weft, as shown in Figure 14: Sugar surface
1 Cut pile; 2-chain warp: 3-weft; 4-filling warp Figure 14 Gripper-spool Axminster carpet (longitudinal section) a
c) Gripper-spool Axminster carpet is woven on a loom. Like the plain Axminster carpet weaving process, each weft row of pile yarn is wound on its own spool. Like the plain Axminster carpet, the yarn gripper plants the pile yarn into the weft interlacing point at the weft, as shown in Figure 14. 4.2.1.3 Plain-weave carpet A pile-free carpet woven with warp and weft, such as a sisal carpet. 4.2.2 Tufted carpet
A carpet in which the pile yarn is inserted into a pre-made base fabric by a pile machine, and then a jute cloth or other material backing (or without a backing) is fixed on the back with a coating or adhesive, including artificial turf. 4.2.2.1 Tufted carpet with loop pile As shown in Figure 15:
