National Standard of the People's Republic of China Side and facemilling cutters with indexable inserts This standard applies to face milling cutters with indexable carbide inserts. UDC 621.14 GB5341--85 The "Type and Dimensions" section of this standard milling cutter is formulated with reference to the international standard ISO6986-1983 "Dimensions of side and face (groove) milling cutters with indexable inserts". 1 Type and Dimensions 1.1 The types and dimensions of milling cutters are as shown in the following figure and Table 1. Issued by the National Bureau of Standards on August 31, 1985 Implemented on July 1, 1986 D(js16) Basic dimensions L(H12) Basic dimensions GB5341—85 d,(H7) Basic dimensions 1.2 The keyway of the inner hole shall be in accordance with GB6132-85 "Interchangeable dimensions of milling cutters and milling cutter shanks". d, (reference) 1.3 The type and size of the milling cutter blade shall be in accordance with GB2076--80 "Rules for indicating the model of indexable inserts for cutting tools" and GB208180 "Cemented carbide indexable inserts for milling tools" for priority selection. 1.4·The code and representation rules of milling cutters shall be in accordance with Appendix A of this standard: Example of marking for indexable three-sided milling cutters (supplement). 2 Technical requirements 2.1 The milling cutter blade shall not have cracks or chipping, and the other parts shall not have cracks, notches, rust and other defects that affect the performance. 2.2 The position tolerances of the positioning surface of the milling cutter blade and the end face of the milling cutter shall be in accordance with Table 2. 17.6 Radial circular runout of the peripheral edge End face circular runout of the end edge End face circular runout of the two supporting end faces Note: ① Check the circular runout to locate the inner hole and end face. GB5341-85 Adjacent teeth ② Check the circular runout of the blade. The same blade should be used on the same cutting edge. D100~160 2.3 For professionally produced milling cutters, the precision of the blades shall not be lower than Class C (according to GB2081-80). 2.4 The surface roughness of the inner hole and end face of the milling cutter shall not be higher than Ra1.25um (according to GB1031-83), D2.5 The milling cutter body is made of alloy steel with a hardness of not less than HB220, and the hardness of the positioning element in direct contact with the blade is not less than 1HRC15. The hardness of the other parts on the milling cutter: the positioning element is not less than JHRC50; the clamping element is not less than HRC40. 2.6 The clamping of the milling cutter blade should be reliable to ensure that the blade does not loosen or move during the cutting process. 2.7 All parts of the milling cutter should be easily replaceable. 3 Test method 3.1 The blade for the milling cutter performance test uses hard alloy with the application code P20 (according to GB2075-80 "Classification and grouping code of cutting hard alloy"), and the test material uses 45 steel with a hardness of HB170-200. 3.2 No coolant is used during the test. 3.3 The test cutting specifications are as follows: The cutting speed is 120-100m/min, The feed per tooth is 0.10-0.15mm; The milling depth is 1-2 times the milling cutter width (L); The total milling length is 1000mm. 3.4 After the test, there shall be no chipping and significant wear on the milling cutter cutting edge, and the parts shall not be loose, and their original performance shall be maintained. 4 Marking and PackagingbZxz.net 4.1 Marking 4.1.1 The milling cutter should be marked with: manufacturer's trademark, milling cutter diameter and width. 4.1.2 The milling cutter blade should be marked with the carbide grade and application code (according to GB2075-80) The milling cutter packaging box should be marked with: national standard number, product name, manufacturer's name and trademark, milling cutter diameter and width, manufacturing year and month. 4.2 Packaging Milling cutters should be treated with rust prevention before packaging, and packaged milling cutters should be protected from damage. 176 Milling cutter diameter D = 80, 100, 125 160200, 250 Milling cutter mounting hole size Milling cutter teeth number Z = 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 Blade shape GB5341—85 Appendix A Example of marking for indexable face and side milling cutters (Supplement) Milling direction of milling cutter Blade clamping method Blade rear wedge Blade front wedge Blade main rake angle 11 Width of milling cutter||tt ||14, 16, 18, 20 Normal clearance angle of insert 9 Length of insert cutting edge 10 Normal clearance angle of wiper edge of insert GB5341—85 Appendix B Three-point positioning dimensions of indexable insert (reference) This appendix complies with the provisions of Appendix B of GB5340-85 Indexable End Mill.
