Chapter I General
Article 1.0.1 This specification is formulated to ensure that the design of store buildings meets the basic requirements of applicability, safety, and hygiene.
Article 1.0.2 This specification applies to newly built, expanded and renovated store buildings (including the store part of comprehensive buildings) in towns and industrial and mining areas throughout the country. Article 1.0.3 The design of store buildings shall comply with the requirements of urban planning and environmental protection, and shall reasonably organize traffic routes to facilitate the masses and reflect care for the disabled.
Article 1.0.4 The scale of store buildings shall be divided into large, medium and small according to their use category and building area, and shall comply with the provisions of Table 1.0.4 Scale of store buildings

Chapter 2 Site and General Plan
Section 1 Site Selection and Layout
Article 2.1.1
Large and medium-sized store building sites should be selected in suitable locations in urban commercial areas or main roads.
Large and medium-sized vegetable market building sites, the distance between the exit of the access road and the starting point of the red line turning at the intersection of urban trunk roads should not be less than 70m.
The service radius of store buildings in the community should not exceed 300m. Article 2.1.2 Store buildings should not be located near factories, warehouses and flammable and combustible material yards with Class A and B fire hazards; if limited by land conditions, their safety distance should comply with the relevant provisions of fire prevention regulations. Article 2.1.3 Large and medium-sized store buildings should have at least two entrances and exits adjacent to urban roads, or the base should have at least 1/4 of the total perimeter length and at least two entrances and exits adjacent to one side of the urban road. Article 2.1.4 In the base of large and medium-sized stores, a transportation road with a net width of not less than 4m should be set up at the back or side of the building. The fire truck lane in the base can also be set up in combination with the transportation road.
Article 2.1.5 In front of the main entrances and exits of newly built large and medium-sized store buildings, appropriate gathering and distribution areas should be reserved according to the requirements of the local planning department. Article 2.1.6 Large and medium-sized store buildings, if there is no public parking lot nearby, should have a parking lot in the base or a parking garage in the building according to the requirements of the local planning department.
Section 2 Pedestrian Commercial Street
Article 2.2.1 Vehicles should be prohibited from passing through pedestrian commercial streets, and they should comply with the relevant regulations of urban regulations and fire and transportation departments. Article 2.2.2 When the original urban road is converted into a pedestrian commercial street, the adjacent roads must be able to bear the traffic volume of the section. Article 2.2.3 The width of the pedestrian commercial street shall meet the following requirements according to different situations:
1. The red line width of the buildings and roads on both sides of the conversion and expansion to become a pedestrian commercial street should not be less than 10m
The width of the newly built pedestrian commercial street can be determined according to the presence or absence of facilities and pedestrian flow in the street, and a width of not less than 5m should be reserved for fire trucks to pass through Article 2.2.4 The length of the pedestrian commercial street should not be greater than 500m, and a fire truck lane crossing the block should be set up at every 160m interval. Article 2.2.5 If there is a roof above the pedestrian commercial street, the net height should not be less than 5.50m, and its structure should comply with the provisions of the fire protection regulations, and use safe lighting materials. Article 2.2.6 If there are multi-storey buildings on both sides of the pedestrian commercial street, the provisions of the fire prevention code shall be met when corridors, overpasses and stairways are set up for traffic functions. Chapter III Architectural Design
Section I General Provisions
Article 3.1.1 Store buildings are divided into business, storage and auxiliary parts according to their use functions. Traffic should be organized inside and outside the building, and the flow of people and goods should avoid crossing, and there should be fire prevention and safety partitions.

Article 3.1.3 All protruding signs and advertisements on the exterior of store buildings should be safe and reliable, and the vertical distance from their bottom to the outdoor ground should not be less than 5m. Article 3.1.4 Store buildings, if equipped with outward-facing windows, should comply with the following regulations:

3. Closed windows in heating areas are generally not heated, and their inner walls should be insulated and the outer walls should be anti-fog.
Article 3.1.Article 5 The external doors and windows of business and storage rooms shall comply with the following provisions: 1. The doors and windows on the ground (floor) floors that connect to the outside world shall be equipped with anti-theft facilities; 2. According to specific requirements, the external doors and windows shall adopt ventilation, rain protection, sun protection, insulation and other measures.
Article 316 The public stairs and ramps in the business part shall comply with the following provisions

Article 3.1.7 When the business part of a large store has four or more floors, it is advisable to install passenger elevators or escalators. The multi-storey warehouse of the store can be equipped with freight elevators or electric hoists and conveyors according to the scale.
Article 3.1.8 The escalators installed in the business part shall comply with the following provisions: 1. The horizontal angle of the inclined part of the escalator shall be equal to or less than 30°; 2. The horizontal parts of the upper and lower ends of the escalator shall not be used for other purposes within 3m; 3. When only one-way escalators are installed, matching stairs should be installed nearby. Article 3.1.9 The business hall of a store should make use of natural lighting as much as possible. Article 3.1.10 When natural ventilation is used in the business hall, the effective ventilation area of its windows and other openings should not be less than 120% of the floor area, and organized ventilation measures should be taken according to specific requirements. If it is not enough, mechanical ventilation should be used to compensate. Article 3.1.11 The building structure of the business hall of a store with system air conditioning or heating shall comply with the following provisions:

2. There shall be no obvious cold (heat) bridge structural defects and infiltration deformation in the business hall
3. The ventilation ducts and openings shall be equipped with silencers and fireproof devices; 4. The partition wall between the business hall and the air handling room shall be a fireproof and soundproof structure, and shall not be directly connected by opening doors.
Section 2 Business Part
Article 3.21 The design of ordinary business halls shall comply with the following provisions: 1. Appropriate counters, zones, and layers shall be divided according to the types, selectivity and sales volume of goods, and the sales area with dense customers shall be located in a convenient area for access; 2. The size of the column grid in the hall shall be determined according to the size of the store, the mode of operation and the structural selection, and shall be convenient for the layout of counters and shelves and have a certain degree of flexibility. The passage shall facilitate the flow of customers and have uniform entrances and exits.
Article 3.2.2 The area of each sales area in an ordinary business hall can be determined according to the different types of goods and the degree of sales busyness. The business hall area index can be calculated as an average of 15m2 per sales position (including the area occupied by customers); it can also be calculated as 1.35m2 per customer. Note: If a large number of goods are piled up in the business hall, the area outside the index calculation should be included in the storage part. Article 3.2.3 The minimum net width of the aisle in an ordinary business hall shall comply with the provisions of Table 3.2.3
