: 3.1 Engineering Design Regulations
The Engineering Design Regulations for Special Equipment is an important regulatory document for this major in engineering design. It is mainly compiled by this major. The content and format are in accordance with HG/T20701.9-2000 "Instructions for the Compilation of Engineering Design Regulations for Containers, Heat Exchangers and Special Equipment". The relevant chapters and clauses will be integrated with the opinions of the materials major and other related majors and departments. Therefore, the first draft prepared by this specialty shall be submitted to the relevant specialty and department for review in accordance with the requirements of HG/T20702.4-2000\Design Quality Assurance Procedure". 3.2 Special Equipment Procurement (Inquiry) Technical Documents Special equipment procurement (inquiry) technical documents usually include: special equipment (inquiry, order) technical specifications or purchase requisitions, special equipment general technical regulations, inquiry version equipment schematics (equipment engineering drawings) or data sheets, engineering standards or standard drawings, procedure instructions, etc.
3.2.1 Special Equipment (Inquiry, Order) Technical Specifications and Purchase Requisitions Special equipment (inquiry, order) technical specifications are a text-based equipment procurement (inquiry) technical document, and special equipment (inquiry, order) purchase requisitions are a table-based document. Equipment procurement (inquiry) technical documents. In engineering design, one or both of them can be selected according to the equipment procurement situation. This document is mainly written by this major. The content and format are in accordance with HG/T20701.11-2000 "Format and preparation instructions for equipment/material (inquiry, order) purchase order and technical specifications".
3.2.2 General technical regulations for special equipment
General technical regulations for special equipment are important documents in equipment procurement (inquiry) technical documents. They are usually compiled according to the type of equipment. The content and format are in accordance with HG/T20701.10~2000 "Preparation instructions for general technical regulations for containers, heat exchangers and special equipment professional equipment". This document is mainly compiled by this major, including The relevant chapters and clauses will be integrated with the opinions of related professionals. Therefore, the first draft prepared by this profession should be submitted to relevant professionals and relevant departments for review in accordance with the requirements of HG/T20702.4-2000 "Design Quality Assurance Procedure". In engineering design, this profession can select, revise or re-compile general technical regulations for special equipment according to the types and requirements of special equipment for engineering projects. 3.2.3 Engineering Standards
Engineering standards are corporate technical standards formulated by our company (institute) to meet the design, manufacturing and inspection requirements of special equipment for engineering projects. Depending on the content involved in the engineering standards, it can be mainly compiled by this profession or by other professions. The compiled manuscript should be in accordance with HG/T20702.4-2000 "Design Quality Assurance Procedure ", and submit it to the relevant disciplines and departments for review. In engineering design, engineering standards can be selected, revised or re-compiled according to the types and requirements of special equipment in the project.
3.2.4 Procedure Specification
The procedure specification is the manufacturing, inspection and installation procedure instructions formulated by our company (institute) to meet the special requirements for the manufacture, inspection and installation of special equipment in the project. According to the content of the procedure specification, it can be mainly compiled by this discipline or by other disciplines. The compiled manuscript should be submitted to the relevant disciplines and departments for review in accordance with the requirements of HG/T20702.4-2000 "Design Quality Assurance Procedure". In engineering design, it can be selected, revised or re-compiled according to the types and requirements of special equipment in the project. 3.2.5 Equipment Schematic (Equipment Engineering Drawing) and Data Sheet Special equipment schematic (equipment engineering drawing) and/or data sheet are important documents in the technical documents for special equipment procurement (inquiry), and should be compiled with reference to HG/T20701.8-2000 and in accordance with the requirements of HG/T20702.6-2000. It is a work that is prepared by this major and requires the cooperation of other majors. For different special equipment, the degree of cooperation of other majors is also different.
For some key special equipment, due to its design requirements (such as special requirements for motors and power distribution, explosion-proof level: special requirements for materials, special requirements for control, etc.), it often involves related majors. Therefore, the schematics (equipment engineering drawings) and/or data sheets and related materials of these key special equipment should be submitted to the relevant majors for review. For general special equipment, since the engineering material selection regulations (material memorandum) provided by the material major have made clear provisions for material selection, there are fewer issues related to special materials involved in the design, so the drawings generally do not need to be submitted to the material major for review.
For special equipment that this major only provides equipment data sheets and is designed by the manufacturer (commercial), since all design work is the responsibility of the manufacturer (commercial), the equipment design data sheets prepared by this major should be submitted to the relevant majors such as chemical process, process system, instrumentation, and electrical (if any) for approval and countersigning. 3.3 Reviewing the quotation of manufacturers (commercial companies)
Reviewing the quotation of manufacturers (commercial companies) is one of the important tasks of this major. This major should make technical evaluation of the quotation of manufacturers (commercial companies) together with relevant majors. When several manufacturers (commercial companies) make quotations for the same equipment (set) at the same time, this major should complete the technical evaluation table and evaluation opinions on the quotation of the manufacturer (commercial company), and submit it to the person in charge of this major and this department for review according to the requirements of the quality assurance procedure, and then hand it over to the design manager, who will send it to the purchasing department as one of the bases for the purchasing department to decide on the ordering manufacturer (commercial company) of the equipment (set). 3.4 Manufacturer (commercial company) coordination meeting
The manufacturer (commercial company) coordination meeting (VCM) is held for key equipment. It is an important meeting to discuss and decide on the design, material selection, manufacturing, inspection and other related issues of the equipment with the manufacturer (commercial company). The meeting should be prepared mainly by this major, and participate in the whole process of the meeting from beginning to end. Before the meeting, the engineer and professional person in charge of the equipment design should prepare a detailed agenda for the technical part of the meeting and draft an invitation letter to the manufacturer in accordance with HG/T163
20701.12-2000 "Working Procedures and Instructions for Coordination Meetings of Professional Manufacturers of Containers, Heat Exchangers and Special Equipment". During the meeting, records should be kept and the technical part of the meeting minutes should be sorted out.
Other relevant professionals can participate in part according to the progress of the meeting and the content of the discussion. The relevant materials and inspection parts in the meeting minutes can be sorted out by the relevant professionals and then incorporated into the technical part of the meeting minutes. For general equipment orders, if necessary, the professional designers should also participate and be responsible for discussing and deciding relevant technical issues with the manufacturer (merchant). Under normal circumstances, there is no need to form a separate minute, and the results of the discussion on the relevant technical issues can be used as a supplementary clause in the order contract.
3.5 Ordering version of equipment schematic (equipment engineering drawing) The ordering version of special equipment schematic (equipment engineering drawing) is carried out after the equipment manufacturer (commercial) coordination meeting (VCM) and before the signing of the order contract, and is an important part of the technical documents of the order contract. The relevant agreement reached by the VCM meeting should be reflected on this version of the drawing. Generally, some supplements and modifications will be made to the inquiry drawing through VCM or equipment ordering. Therefore, in the case of many changes to the inquiry version of the drawing, it is necessary to publish a new version of the drawing (i.e., the ordering version) as the formal basis for ordering.
3.6 Review of the advance confirmation (ACF) drawing
The advance confirmation (ACF) drawing is a pre-provided drawing drawn by the manufacturer according to the requirements of the order technical documents. The drawing is signed by relevant personnel at all levels of the manufacturer (design, verification, and review). The review of the ACF drawing is generally undertaken by the designer and verifier who completes the equipment schematic (equipment engineering drawing) of this specialty. In order to better conduct the review, this work can be carried out in accordance with HG/T20701.6-2000 "Key Points for Review of Drawings of Container and Heat Exchanger Manufacturers". 3.7 Manufacturing version of equipment schematic (equipment engineering drawing) The manufacturing version of special equipment schematic (equipment engineering drawing) is a work started after this specialty receives the ACF drawing of the manufacturer (commercial) and reviews it. In addition to supplementing and modifying some graphics and data in this version of the drawing, the supplementary design conditions provided by the relevant professions in the detailed engineering design process should also be supplemented, such as the orientation of the pipe mouth, the orientation and elevation of the support, the supporting members or reinforcement plates to be pre-welded on the equipment, and the position of the fixed support of the horizontal equipment. In addition to being distributed to the relevant professions within the company (institute), this version of the drawing should also be sent to the manufacturer as a basis for the manufacturer to continue to complete the final confirmation (CF) drawing. 164
3.8 Review of the final confirmation (CF) drawing
The final confirmation (CF) drawing completed by the manufacturer is the final drawing delivered by the manufacturer to the production workshop for manufacturing. For the sake of prudence, our company still needs to conduct a final review to ensure that the manufacturer's drawings fully meet the order requirements. 3.9 Construction version of equipment schematics (equipment engineering drawings) The construction version of special equipment schematics (equipment engineering drawings) is made after our professional receives the CF drawings from the manufacturer (commercial) and does not expect any further modifications. If the equipment needs to be modified for some reason before manufacturing (it can only be carried out after obtaining the approval of both the buyer and the seller), these modifications should be reflected in the construction version of the equipment schematics (equipment engineering drawings). If no modifications or changes are made to the manufacturing version, just note "for construction version" in the modification column and sign the date, which means the publication of the construction version.
4 Other issues that need to be explained
4.0.1 When the contract between our company (institute) and the user clearly states that our company (institute) is responsible for the equipment construction drawing design, the relevant professionals should confirm and sign the inquiry version of the equipment schematic drawing (equipment engineering drawing) and/or the order version of the equipment schematic drawing (equipment engineering drawing) proposed by our professional. Our professional will design the equipment construction drawing based on the confirmed equipment schematic drawing (equipment engineering drawing). The working procedures are shown in Appendix B.
4.0.2 Design liaison
After the equipment is ordered, in order to facilitate design liaison, our professional can directly contact the manufacturer for technical matters after obtaining the consent of the design manager.
4.0.3 In the detailed engineering design stage, the equipment nozzle orientation conditions can be proposed by the pipeline professionals using the pipeline plane design drawing, or in the form of nozzle orientation diagram. 5 Appendix
