In the process of formulating this part, the "Tobacco Leaf Code" in the "Tobacco Industry Information Classification and Code Compilation Manual" of 1992 and 1997 editions was referred to. This part
was proposed by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration. This part
is under the jurisdiction of the Information Sub-Technical Committee of the National Tobacco Standardization Technical Committee (TC144/SC7).

4.1 Classification principles
Classify according to the preparation method and attributes of tobacco leaves, and take into account the requirements of enterprises in management and use as well as the characteristics of stability and uniqueness in the circulation field. 4.2 Classification method
Use line classification to classify tobacco leaves, that is, major categories, medium categories and minor categories. 4.3 Tobacco leaf types
