Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China Standard SJ2244-82 RX-54 Microwave Gas Discharge Tube Published on December 22, 1982 Implemented on July 1, 1983 Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China Standard RX-54 Microwave Gas Discharge Tube SJ2244--82 This standard applies to RX--54 microwave gas discharge tube (hereinafter referred to as switch tube), which is a 10-centimeter band broadband receiving protection switch tube, used in radar equipment of 72.14mm×34.04mm waveguide system. This standard is a supplement to the general technical conditions for microwave gas discharge tubes (SJ343-73) (hereinafter referred to as "general technical conditions"). Except for the contents specified in this standard, the rest shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the general technical conditions. Dimensions The dimensions of the switch tube shall comply with the provisions of Figure 1. 2 Parameter specification The parameters of the switch tube shall comply with the provisions of the parameter specification table. Glass and metal sealing test Take 10 switch tubes (it is allowed to take tubes with some unqualified items of the same process, but the ignition current must be qualified) for a single glass and metal sealing test. First, use 5 tubes for the test. After the test, all the switch tubes are qualified, and the test is qualified. The other 5 tubes are not tested. If 1 of the 5 tubes is unqualified, another 5 tubes are required to be tested. After the test, all the switch tubes are qualified, and the test is qualified. If 2 (or more) of the 5 switch tubes tested first are unqualified, or 1 (or more) of the 5 tubes tested later are unqualified, the test is unqualified. Retest is required according to the general technical regulations. When all the switch tubes are qualified in the first quarter (or three consecutive months) test, the test will not be carried out again in this year. Otherwise, it will be carried out according to the general technical regulations. Shock test The acceleration is 5g, the impact frequency is 50-70 times/min, and the impact is 500 times in the horizontal and vertical directions. 5 Low temperature test under working condition Under the condition of ambient temperature of -55±2℃, maintain for 30 minutes, then add ignition voltage and high power to measure the amplitude recovery time. 6 Working condition High temperature test Under the condition of ambient temperature of 70±2℃, maintain for 30 minutes, then add ignition voltage and high power to measure the wave tip energy. 7 Amplitude recovery time 7.1 The amplitude recovery time is calculated based on the attenuation of the receiving signal by the switch tube as 3dB. 7.2 The frequency of the detection signal is the center frequency of the tube being tested. Issued by the Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China on December 22, 1982 and implemented on July 1, 1983 Tube cap firmness test SJ2244—82 After the moisture mixing test, the switch tube that has been left to stand for two hours is placed on special equipment, and the torque of the pipe cap is gradually increased to 0.017kg·m to check the firmness of the pipe cap. The pipe cap should not be loose after the test. 9 Relaxation oscillation When the ignition current is greater than 30μA, no harmful relaxation oscillation with an amplitude reaching the zero line should be observed on the oscilloscope. See Figure 2. 10 When the output of the switching tube is less than 100 per quarter (or for three consecutive months), its routine test shall be carried out once every six months (or for six consecutive months). The test shall be carried out in accordance with Articles 17, 18, 19 of the General Technology (SJ34373) and Article 3 of this standard. 11 When the output of the switching tube is less than 100 per quarter (or for three consecutive months), its life test shall be carried out once every six months (or for six consecutive months).
