Subject content and scope of application
Self-priming performance test method
JB/T6664.31993
This standard specifies the self-priming performance test instrumentation, equipment, conditions, procedures, calculation analysis of test results and test reports of self-priming pumps.
This standard applies to self-priming pumps.
2 Test instruments
2.1 All test instruments should have valid calibration certificates or reports. 2.2 The accuracy requirements of the test instruments are as follows: a.
The accuracy of the tachometer should be able to ensure that its measurement system error is ±1.0%; b. The accuracy of the stopwatch should be able to ensure that its measurement range deviation is ±1.0%; the accuracy of the tape measure and ruler should be able to ensure that its measurement range deviation is ±1.0%. c.
3 Test equipment and test conditions
3.1 The pump inlet should be equipped with a suction pipe with the same diameter as the inlet. The length of the horizontal pipe section of the inlet shall not be greater than 0.5m. The lower end of the water inlet pipe should have a filter but no bottom valve.
The effective length of the suction pipe should be greater than the specified self-priming height, but the excess part shall not be greater than 0.5m. 3.2 The pump outlet should be equipped with the same outlet pipe as the actual working pump. 3.3 The test power is an electric motor or a diesel engine, which is directly driven or indirectly driven. 3.4 The water inlet pipeline should be sealed during the test. 3.5 The test liquid is clean water below 40℃, the ambient temperature is 20±15℃, the relative humidity should not be greater than 80%, and the atmospheric pressure should not be less than 0.0966MPao
3.6 The test should be carried out at the specified speed (the speed fluctuation rate is ±2%), and the water pump must reach the specified speed 10s after starting. If it cannot be carried out at the specified speed, the deviation between the measured speed and the specified speed is ±3%. 3.7 The direct method test should be used under the specified test conditions, and the equivalent exhaust method or speed conversion method is not allowed. 3.8 During the self-priming process of the pump, the water source liquid level height of the test pool should remain unchanged. 3.9 The water inlet pipeline should be under ambient pressure before the test. 3.10 If a transparent bypass monitoring tube is used during the test, its inner diameter shall not be greater than 10mm and it shall be installed parallel to the vertically installed ruler. 4 Test procedure
4.1 Determination of self-priming height and time 4.1.1 Install the tested water pump according to the test requirements and adjust it to work properly. Record its basic technical parameters in Table 1. 4.1.2 Inject enough water into the tested water pump before starting, start the water pump, and record the time when it starts to run continuously in Table 2. 4.1.3
Measure the speed of the tested water pump and record the time when the water pump outlet starts to discharge water continuously. The tested water pump stops after it discharges water continuously.
Approved by the Ministry of Machinery Industry on June 4, 1993
Implemented on January 1, 1994
JB/T6664.3-1993
4.1.5 After stopping for 1~2 minutes and making sure that the tested water pump meets the requirements of Article 3.9, start the tested water pump and repeat the steps of Articles 4.1.2~4.1.4 twice. The test data are recorded in Table 2.
4.2 Determination of self-priming performance curve
The tested water pump is installed at at least 6 different self-priming heights from the water surface to the maximum self-priming height, and the test specified in Article 4.1 is repeated. The test data are recorded in Table 2.
4.3 After all tests are completed, the accumulated water in the pump should be drained and anti-rust treatment should be carried out. 5 Calculation and analysis of test results
5.1 Self-priming time at specified self-priming height
Calculate the self-priming time at specified self-priming height according to formula (1): TT
The continuous operation time of the tested water pump at the start of the i-th test, s; Where: T
The continuous water discharge time of the tested water pump at the start of the i-th test, s; 1, — The self-priming time at specified self-priming height, S. 5.2 Self-priming performance curve
Refer to formula (1) to calculate the self-priming time at different self-priming heights, and draw the self-priming performance curve of the tested water pump with the self-priming time as the horizontal axis and the self-priming height as the vertical axis.
6 Test report
After the test, the test results of the pump self-priming performance should be sorted out and summarized, and a test report should be submitted (when it is carried out at the same time as other performance tests of the pump, the test report can be compiled together), which should mainly include the following contents: Test overview: prototype name, model, number, manufacturer and date of manufacture, etc.; a.
Test purpose, requirements, test time, location, participating test units and personnel, etc.; b.
Main technical performance parameters of the prototype;
Test conditions;
Test records, calculation results and analysis;
Improvement opinions and suggestions;
Conclusion;
