National Standard of the People's Republic of China Code for railway stations of the People's Republic of China Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the code for railway stations in the country, UDC656.21 (083) GB 10302—8B
This standard applies to the station name processing business of railway stations in the national railway operation management and modernization management. 2 Terminology
Railway station
refers to the stations, passenger stations, line stations and local railway stations under the jurisdiction of provinces and cities (Taiwan Province and Hong Kong are temporarily unavailable) on the railway lines under the Ministry of Railways of the People's Republic of China that have handled, temporarily handled or are about to handle passenger and freight business. 3 Coding method
3.1 The railway station name code adopts a two-layer five-digit code, and its structure is: xxxxx
The first layer indicates the railway bureau number
The second layer indicates the station sequence number
3.2 The first layer code indicates the railway bureau number, and the bureau number is coded from "01. 3.2 .1 The branch numbers within the same railway bureau are coded consecutively. A railway bureau with less than five railway branches is given five consecutive numbers. A railway bureau with more than five but less than ten railway branches is given ten consecutive numbers. Naturally formed empty numbers will be used to add branches. 3.2.2 Coding of local railway branch numbers. If a local railway has been or is planned to be connected to a railway under the Ministry of Railways, the railway branch number where the connecting station is located is the branch number of the local railway. If a local railway is not connected to a railway under the Ministry of Railways, it will be assigned to the relevant railway branch according to the main freight transportation direction of the local railway. 3.3 The first-level code represents different railway stations, and the code generally starts with double "010#. 3.3.1 The station sequence number is coded in ascending order in the downward direction of the train on the same line of the branch. 3.3.2 The train sequence number is usually left blank for 10 to 20 numbers between different lines for the purpose of change. 3.3.3 The station sequence number of local railways shall be coded from "801".
