National Standard of the People's Republic of China Microcrystalline graphite Amorphous graphite 1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, etc. of microcrystalline graphite products. This standard applies to the quality inspection and quality acceptance of microcrystalline graphite. 2 Reference standards GB/T 3520 Graphite fineness inspection method GB/T3521 Graphite chemical analysis method 3 Terminology GB/T3519-95 Replaces GB3519-83 Microcrystalline graphite: refers to a dense aggregate composed of tiny natural graphite crystals. It is also called earthy graphite or amorphous graphite. It is gray-black or steel gray in color, has a metallic luster, is slippery, easily stained, has stable chemical properties, can conduct heat and electricity, is resistant to high temperatures, acids and alkalis, corrosion, and oxidation. Because of its fine crystals, strong plasticity and good adhesion. 4 Product classification and code 4.1 Microcrystalline graphite is divided into two categories: a. Those with iron requirements are in the first category. Indicated by WT. b. Those without iron requirements are in the second category. Indicated by W. 4.2 Product code: The product code consists of the classification code, fixed carbon content, and the maximum particle size of the product. For example: WT96-45 (indicates a product with a carbon content of 96% and a maximum particle size of 45um with iron requirements) 5 Technical requirements 5.1 Appearance requirements The product shall not contain wood chips, iron filings, stone particles and other debris visible to the naked eye, and the product shall not be contaminated by other impurities. 5.2 Technical requirements for microcrystalline graphite products Should comply with the provisions of Table 1 and Table 2. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on February 7, 1995 36 Implemented on October 1, 1995 WT99-45 WT99-75 WT98-45 WT98-75 WT97-45 WT97-75 WT96-45 WT96-75 WT95-45 WT95-75 WT94-45 WT94-75 WT92-45 WT92-75||tt ||WT90-45 WT90-75 WT88-45 WT88-75 WT85-45 WT85-75 WT83-45 WT83-75 WT80-45 WT80-75 WT78-45 WT78-75 WT75-45 WT75-75 Fixed carbon Not less than Volatile matter Note: For special requirements on fineness, it shall be agreed upon by both the supply and demand parties. GB/T3519--95 6.3 The contents of moisture, fixed carbon, volatile matter and acid-soluble iron shall be in accordance with GB/T3521. 7 Inspection rules 7.1 Batch The same brand of bagged microcrystalline graphite delivered at one time is 60t as a batch, and less than 60t is still calculated as a batch. 7.2 Sampling Bagged microcrystalline graphite is sampled according to the systematic sampling method, that is, each bag in a batch of products is arranged in a certain order, and a bag is randomly selected from 1 to n bags of products for sampling, and then a bag is sampled every n-1 bags. The sampling amount in each bag is the same, and the samples are combined and mixed as the samples of the batch of products. n is calculated as follows: n—N/100 The number of bags in each batch of products. Where: N—- n—the number of bags represented by each sampling bag. When the calculated n contains decimals, the decimal part should be discarded. When N≤100, samples should be taken from each bag. When sampling, insert the sampling rod into the bag to extract. The sampling quantity of each batch shall not be less than 1kg. 7.3 Sample preparation Pour the sample on a square plastic film of sufficient strength and appropriate size or a firm and soft paper or cloth, and mix it repeatedly by tumbling (tumbling more than 15 times). Use the quartering method to reduce two samples of 500g, one for testing and one for backup. 7.4 Inspection classification 7.4.1 Microcrystalline graphite products are divided into factory inspection and type inspection. 7.4.2 Each batch of products shall be inspected for fixed carbon, volatile matter, moisture and sieve residue before leaving the factory. Products with a fixed carbon content of less than 94% shall also be inspected for acid-soluble iron content. 7.4.3 Type inspection shall be carried out in full according to Tables 1 and 2. 7.4.4 Type inspection shall be carried out in any of the following circumstances. Trial production and identification of new products or old products transferred to the factory a. After formal production, when there are major changes in the ore source and production process, which may affect the product performance; b. In normal production, an inspection shall be carried out once a quarter; c When the product is resumed after a long-term suspension of production; d. When the product factory inspection results are significantly different from the last type inspection, the relevant quality supervision agency proposes a type inspection requirement. f. 7.5 Judgment rules 7.5.1 Products that are qualified in all the inspection items except moisture are qualified products. If one or more items are unqualified, double sampling should be done from the same batch, and the unqualified items should be re-tested, and the re-test results should be the inspection results. 7.5.2 The re-test samples should be drawn from the doubled number of bags and tested according to the method specified in Chapter 6. 7.5.3 When the moisture content is greater than the values in Table 1 and Table 2, the excess should be deducted when calculating the weight. However, it cannot exceed 1.5 times the values listed in Table 1 and Table 2. 7.5.4 If there is any objection to the product quality or the inspection results, it should be raised within two months of receiving the product or the inspection results, and the spare samples should be re-tested. If there is still a dispute and it cannot be resolved through negotiation between the two parties, an application should be made for arbitration by the relevant quality supervision department. 39 8 Packaging, marking, transportation, compensation and storage GB/T 3519-95 8.1 Microcrystalline graphite is generally packed in bags. The packaging bags are required to be strong, neat and beautiful. The packaging material can be two-layer paper bag or plastic film bag, outer woven bag or fiber latex bag. The packaging specifications can be divided into five types, see Table 3. Packaging weight Allowable error The logo should be printed directly on the packaging bag, and the logo content is: 8.2 Product name; Registered trademark, Product code; Weight (kg) Batch number or production date; f. Manufacturer name. 8.3 Each batch of products shall have a certificate of conformity. Each certificate of conformity shall indicate the product name, manufacturer name, trademark, product code, implementation standard, inspection result, batch number or date of manufacture, batch, inspector number and seal of the inspection department. 8.4 During storage and transportation, products shall be stacked in batches and product codes. Mixing, contamination and moisture are strictly prohibited. They shall be protected from rain, snow and damage.
