The adoption of IEC417 can make my country's drawing of equipment graphic symbols consistent with international standards: it is convenient for international and domestic technical and economic exchanges.
This standard is the first revision of GB5465.2-85. Compared with B5165.2-85, the revisions are as follows: a) The standard structure is rearranged: equivalent to IEC:4.7. b) There are many symbols added and revised in the standard! The revised standard includes active symbols

This standard is drawn according to GB/T5465.1-1995. This standard is proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Electrical Graphic Symbols. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Electrical Graphic Symbols. This standard was jointly drafted by the National Institute of Standardization of the Electric Industry of the Ministry of Electric Power, the Standardization Institute of the Ministry of Electronics, and the Machinery Standardization Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. The main co-authors are Wang Baolan, Li Shan, and Guo Ting. GB/T5465.2-1996 IEC Foreword
1. IEC formal decisions or agreements drawn up by technical committees on technical issues of particular interest to all national committees shall, as far as possible, express international consensus on the subjects covered. 2. Decisions or agreements are presented in the form of recommendations for international use and are intended to be accepted by national committees in some sense. 3. In order to promote international unification, all national committees are encouraged to accept the provisions recommended by IEC in their national regulations, where circumstances permit. Whenever possible, differences between the recommendations of IEC and the corresponding national regulations will be made clear in text.
This recommendation document has been drawn up by IFC Technical Committee III \ Graphical Symbols \ Recommended Graphical Symbols for Electrical and Electronic Technology Fields or Diagrams (see publication IEC 17-17). Recommended Graphical Symbols include the most important graphic symbols, in addition to some new electrical graphic symbols are still under study. Technical Committee 3 based on it, reasonably increased the "Recommended publications for drawing schematics (IH: Japanese version 113). When Technical Committee 3 was active, it accepted the work of "TFC/T12 on graphic symbols for equipment started in 2066. The result of the work was a complete recommended document: Publication IEC 16: Principles of Drawing Graphic Symbols Publication IEC 417: Graphical Symbols for Equipment - Catalogs, Indexes and Single-page Graphical Symbols, Compilations. This work was taken over during the TC:12 meeting held in Tehran in 1969. 10

The purpose of formulating this standard is to establish unified graphic symbols for electrical equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment) and their formats, meanings and application scopes. 1 Scope
The graphic symbols included in this standard are applicable to: a) Placed on equipment or parts of any type of equipment to indicate the use and operation of the equipment to the personnel who control the equipment. b) Placed in the passages where people may gather or move frequently, indicating instructions such as warnings, rules and restrictions. c) Can also be used on floor plans, diagrams, maps, briefs and similar documents. 2 Purpose
The purpose of this standard is to establish unified graphic symbols for electrical equipment and their uses, formats, meanings and application scopes. 3“a\ provisions
For information processing and retrieval systems, apply to each symbol in the technical standard. When retrieving a large number of symbols from the processing equipment, it is required to use! inches and mm.
