This standard specifies the types, basic parameters and dimensions of detachable and armored industrial thermocouples (hereinafter referred to as thermocouples). This standard applies to thermocouples with one or two pairs of thermocouples, protective tubes and wiring devices or other additional devices. 2 Thermocouple Type
The shape of the protective tube and the type of the fixing device of the thermocouple are shown in Table 1. Table 1

Thermocouple wiring devices have the following types: no junction box,
simple type;
protective type (anti-drainage, anti-splash, anti-spray, etc.); flameproof type;
plug-in type.
Basic parameters and dimensions
3.1 Basic parameters of thermocouples
The types, graduation numbers and temperature ranges of thermocouples are shown in Table 2. Table 2

Note: The actual operating temperature range of the thermocouple is related to the material of the protection tube, the measured medium, the diameter of the couple wire, etc., and should be specified by the manufacturer in the instruction manual.
