Main-drum The drum with the largest lifting or pulling capacity on the winch that completes the main operation. 3.3 Rated traction nominal pull The maximum average traction of the wire rope on the drum is the rated traction of the drum; the rated traction of the main drum is the rated traction of the winch. 3.4 Wire rope speed The speed at which the wire rope is wound into or out of the drum under various working conditions of the winch. 3.5 Rope capacity The maximum length of a wire rope of a certain diameter after it is fully wound on the winding drum according to the specified requirements. 3.6 Winding drum A drum that continuously winds in the wire rope to transmit power while rotating. One end of the wire rope must be fixed on the drum. The winding drum is generally a cylindrical smooth drum. 3.7 Frictional drum A drum that transmits power by using the friction between the tensioned wire rope and the drum surface. The two ends of the wire rope are connected in a ring. The friction drum is generally a hyperbolic drum. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on June 27, 1994. Implemented on January 1, 1995.
