Standards of the Ministry of Railways
Standardization is a comprehensive technical foundation, a technical criterion for the modernization and advancement of the organization, and an important part of scientific management. Through the formulation and implementation of standards, it can effectively guarantee and invest in product quality, work quality and service quality, promote trade and technical exchanges, and improve economic and social benefits. With the establishment of my country's socialist market economic system and the reform and development of railways, railway standardization has become an important technical foundation for the overall management of railway transportation, and it plays an increasingly important role in promoting the technical progress of the railway industry and improving the quality level of technical equipment and services.
The compilation of railway industry standards published in this batch is arranged according to the standardization work plan of the Ministry of Railways: in 2000, the Ministry of Railways organized a review of the railway industry standards before 1990 and the review of the railway industry standards from 1991 to 1997 in 2003. The conclusion abolished 96 industry standards that met the requirements of railway reform and development. The current 168 railway industry standards of the Ministry of Railways are divided into six parts according to professions: "Road Vehicle Standard Compilation", "Engineering Standard Compilation", "Electrified Railway Standard Compilation", "Railway Transport Standard Compilation" and "Comprehensive Basic Standard Compilation". The "Road Vehicle Equipment" includes one volume of locomotive and rolling stock comprehensive part, four volumes of "standard vehicle part", four volumes of "roller part" and one volume of current railway national standards related to locomotive and rolling stock. As of now, Ding Huibin Publishing House has published a total of 94 effective railway industry standards and national standards that are in force worldwide and are incomplete. This is to provide railway-related management personnel, scientific and technological personnel and leaders at all levels with a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the current effective railway industry standards, national standards and annual verification procedures, so as to better implement the standards. It also provides technical support for the scientific and technological development of railways. If errors occur during the editing process based on the current standard single volume, please point them out and inform the institute in writing.
All standards may be revised during the implementation period. If there are any changes in the standards, the latest version of the standard shall prevail.
