This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, inspection methods, marking and packaging of two-point internal micrometers (including "internal micrometers" and "single-rod internal micrometers"). This standard is applicable to integral structures or two-point internal micrometers with extension rods (in accordance with the Abbe principle) with graduation values of 0.01mm, 0.001mm, 0.002mm, 0.005mm, a micrometer screw pitch of 0.5mm or 1.0mm, and a measurement upper limit lmax of no more than 6000mm.
