API Spec 7K only has the outer dimensions, tooth profile dimensions and accuracy requirements of the thread. The mean diameter values of the threads listed in this standard are determined according to the 2A/2B grade accuracy of ANSIB1.1, and the remaining dimensions are calculated and determined according to the requirements of API Spec 7K. The threads determined in this standard are completely consistent with the threads determined in API Spec 7K, so that they can meet the needs of international trade, technology and economic exchanges. As a basic thread standard, the original standard has deleted the contents that are not related to the accuracy of the thread itself, such as the coaxiality of the thread axis and the piston rod. This standard is revised on the basis of the original standards SY5020-80 and SY5021-80. The original standard only had 8 types of threads, which have now been expanded to 20, and the dimensions and deviations of the original standards are in accordance with API Spe c7K and ANSIB1.1 have been revised. The mean diameter and tolerance of cylindrical threads in this standard are determined according to the 2A/2B level of ANSIB1.1. The thread profile of this standard is different from that of ANSIB1.1. The mean diameter of the tapered thread is determined by the mean diameter of the cylindrical thread so that the tapered and cylindrical parts can be connected to each other. From the date of entry into force, this standard will replace both SY5020--80 and SY5021-80. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Petroleum Drilling Equipment and Tools. This standard is applicable to the connection threads of drilling and pumps. Tooth profile and structural dimensions The cylindrical thread tooth profile and limit dimensions of tapered cylindrical thread shall comply with the provisions of Figure 1 and Table 1. 3.1 3.2The tapered thread tooth profile of tapered cylindrical thread shall comply with the provisions of Figure 2. 3.3The structural dimensions of tapered cylindrical thread shall comply with the provisions of Figure 3. Dimensions and tolerances The dimensions of cylindrical thread of tapered cylindrical thread shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. The internal thread 4.3.7 The bottom diameter deviation is not specified, but it shall not exceed the maximum solid tooth profile determined by the basic deviation, that is, the general gauge tooth profile. The tooth bottom can be made into two types: parallel to the thread axis and the cone generatrix, and can also be made into an arc type with an arc radius less than 0.33mm. 4.3.8 The taper limit deviation is 2.50mm/304.8mm for internal taper thread and +.08mm/3048mm for external taper thread. The taper thread marking consists of two parts: the taper thread number and the standard number. For example, the taper thread with a nominal size of 2in is marked as: T9SY/T5020. Note: The standard number in the thread marking can be omitted if it does not cause misunderstanding.
