This standard is equivalent to ISO2194--1972 "Industrial wire screens and screen plates-Nominal size of apertures". 1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the mesh size series of industrial meshes. This standard is applicable to metal meshes such as industrial wire woven meshes, welded meshes and perforated plates; it is also applicable to non-metal meshes made by various processing methods.
2 Reference standards
GB321 Priority numbers and priority number systems
GB6005 Basic dimensions of test sieves, wire mesh, perforated plates and electroformed sheets 3 Mesh size series
3.1 Mesh size regulations are divided into the first, second and third series, which are R10, R20 and R40 respectively. The first series (R10) is preferred. For mesh sizes less than 50μm, the size series are R10, R20 and R40.3.2 Mesh size series are shown in Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3.4 Dimension unit expression method
Mesh sizes greater than or equal to 1mm are expressed in mm (see Table 1); mesh sizes less than 1mm are expressed in μm (see Table 2 and Table 3).
