Low-voltage electrical appliances
3.1 According to the working characteristics and their role in the system, they can be divided into: a.

4.2.1 The body of the distribution box shall be made of plates with certain strength and rigidity. In order to make the box structure firm, strengthening measures may be taken if necessary. 4.2.2 The box shall be equipped with a door, and a device shall be installed on the door to prevent movement after the door is opened. The opening angle of the door shall be greater than 90°, and the opening direction of a single door shall open to the left in principle. Its structure shall make it easy to open and close the door and operate the switch elements, and the live parts shall not be touched during operation. If necessary, a protective plate may be installed in the box. In addition, a lock may be installed on the door. 4.2.3 Each branch shall be equipped with a molded case automatic switch or a switch and fuse or a single fuse. For the automatic switch, it shall be possible to disassemble and assemble it easily and safely when the bus is live. For fuses, it should be easy to replace the fuse core or fuse tube. 4.2.4 A clear and durable principle circuit diagram and the rated current mark of the automatic switch release (or fuse core) should be set at the appropriate position on the door. 4.2.5 A grounding device should be set at the appropriate position in the box, and there should be an obvious and durable grounding mark. 4.2.6 All insulating parts should be made of flame-retardant, moisture-resistant and mildew-resistant insulating materials, and insulation treatment is required; metal parts, in addition to the good corrosion resistance of the material itself, should have a reliable protective layer. 4.2.7 The inner and outer surfaces of the box are generally sprayed with the same color paint. The color should comply with the color code requirements proposed by the ordering party, the color should be uniform, and the surface should be smooth.
4.2.8 A wire support plate or a card plate should be set on the lower side plate of the distribution box. 4.2.9 The internal wiring of the distribution box should generally use marine multi-strand insulated soft wires, and its voltage resistance level should meet the use requirements. The wiring terminals shall have clear and durable markings consistent with the circuit diagram. 4.2.10 The connecting conductors of the busbar and its branches shall be made of high-conductivity copper. The allowable current carrying capacity of the busbar shall not be less than the rated current of the busbar (80% of the total rated current of the automatic switch, combination switch, and fuse of each branch), and the allowable current carrying capacity of the connecting conductors of each branch shall not be less than the rated current value of the switch or fuse of each branch. Each electrical connection shall be treated to prevent corrosion and oxidation. 4.2.11 During design, it shall be considered that the busbar and its supporting parts shall be able to withstand the mechanical stress generated during a short circuit without being damaged. 4.2.12 The color, phase sequence (AC) or polarity (DC) installation arrangement of the busbar in the distribution box shall comply with the provisions of Table 1 (based on the front view direction of the distribution box).

4.2.13 The fasteners in the distribution box should be made of corrosion-resistant materials or carbon steel with anti-corrosion treatment. The screws and nuts used for connection and fastening should have anti-loosening measures.
4.2.14 When designing the box, sufficient gaps should be left for flying and incoming cable bending. 4.2.15 The drip-proof distribution box should comply with the provisions of IP22. When the box is tilted from any direction in the normal position to any angle within 15°, vertical dripping should have no harmful effects.
4.2.16 Splash-proof distribution boxes shall comply with the provisions of IP44, and the box body shall be able to withstand water splashing from any direction without harmful effects. 4.2.17 If necessary, boxes with other protection levels can also be designed according to user requirements. 4.3 Electrical performance
4.3.1 The insulation of the distribution box shall be able to withstand the AC test voltage specified in Table 2 for 1 minute without breakdown or flashover. The test frequency is 25100Hz.

During the acceptance test, the cold insulation resistance between the live parts of the distribution box and the box body and between each pole (phase) shall not be less than 20MQ4.3.2
4.3.3 The electrical clearance and creepage distance of the electrical components in the distribution box shall comply with the provisions of their respective technical conditions. The electrical clearance and creepage distance of the bare scale live conductors and terminal blocks directly combined with the electrical components shall at least comply with the relevant provisions of the technical conditions of these electrical components themselves.

4.3.7 The distribution box should be resistant to salt spray. The appearance changes of its metal plated parts exposed to the air after a 48-hour salt spray test should comply with the requirements of Table 6.

4.3.8 The distribution box shall have mildew resistance. After a 28-day mildew test, the mildew area of the insulating parts exposed to the air shall not exceed the second level specified in GB2423.16, or other indicators agreed by the factory, user and ship inspection department. 5 Test method
5.1 The test method shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB998 except for those specified in this standard. 5.2 General inspection
Inspect the appearance, installation dimensions, assembly quality, nameplate, grounding, anti-corrosion layer of components, electrical clearance and creepage distance of the distribution box. 5.3 Insulation performance test
5.3.1 Dielectric strength test
Perform the test between the following parts according to Article 4.3.1 of this standard: a. Between the live parts and the box body;
b. Between each pole (phase).
5.3.2 Insulation resistance measurement
Measure the insulation resistance at the parts specified in Article 4.3.2 of this standard with a megohmmeter of 1000V voltage level (when the rated voltage is greater than 660V) or a megohmmeter of 500V voltage level (when the rated voltage is greater than 60V but not greater than 660V) or a megohmmeter of 250V voltage level (when the rated voltage is not greater than 60V). 5.4 Temperature rise test
In accordance with the requirements of Article 4.3.4 of this standard, the distribution box shall be installed in normal working state, and the rated current shall be passed through the main circuit and each branch. When the temperature of each part reaches a stable state, its temperature rise limit shall not exceed the specified value in Table 3. The conductors, busbar cross-sectional area and length used in the test shall be selected in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB998.
5.5 Damp heat test
The damp heat test in Article 4.3.5 of this standard shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB2423.4. 5.6 Shell protection test
The drip test and splash test specified in Articles 4.2.15 and 4.2.16 of this standard shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB4942.2. 5.7 Vibration test
The vibration resistance test specified in Article 4.3.6 of this standard shall be fastened to the vibration table according to the actual use state, and powered on for normal operation. Scan back and forth 1 to 3 times at the frequency and amplitude specified in Table 5 to check for resonance. The scanning method should be logarithmic or linear. The logarithmic scanning speed is 1 times the rated range/min, and the linear scanning speed is 15Hz/min, and then perform 2h endurance vibration at the maximum resonance point. If there is no obvious resonance point, perform 2h endurance vibration at 30Hz rated frequency. The above test should be carried out in three axial directions (vertical, horizontal, and longitudinal) in sequence. 5.8 Salt spray test
Article 4.3.7 of this standard shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB2423.17. If the manufacturer has a qualified salt spray test report for metal parts and materials, the test can be exempted within the validity period. 5.9 Long test
Article 4.3.8 of this standard mildew test shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB2423.16. If the manufacturer has a mildew test report for insulating materials or coatings, the test can be exempted within the validity period. 6 Inspection rules
6.1 Factory inspection
6.1.1 All products leaving the factory shall be subject to factory inspection and a certificate of inspection shall be issued. 6.1.2 Factory inspection items

6.2 Type inspection
Type inspection shall be carried out for distribution boxes in the following cases: when a new design product is finalized;
when the old product is transferred to the factory for trial production and appraisal; when the product has a major change in raw materials, structure or process, which may affect the main performance of the product; every four years when the product is in normal production;
when the product is resumed after a long-term suspension; when the inspection result is significantly different from the last type inspection; when the supervision department makes a request, but no more than once a year. Type inspection items

6.2.3 The type inspection samples are taken from the batches of products that have passed the factory inspection, generally not less than two. The salt spray test is only conducted on metal parts, and the mildew test is only conducted on insulating parts. 6.2.4 During the test, if it is found that a certain item fails the test, a double number of tests should be conducted. In addition to the test of the item, the double test should also conduct tests on items that were done before and related to the item. During the test, there cannot be more than two double test items. If there are still two unqualified units in the double test, the batch of products will be treated as unqualified. The manufacturer must take measures to eliminate the defects and continue production only after all tests are passed. 7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage

Each product should be fixed with a durable, flame-retardant nameplate with the following contents in a conspicuous position: a.
Product model and name;
Rated working voltage and frequency (for AC); Manufacturer's name;
Manufacture year and month;
Weight;
Product number;
Ship inspection mark;
Quality grade mark.
7.2 When the product leaves the factory, the packaging box must be sturdy and can meet the requirements of water and land transportation and loading and unloading. The outer wall of the packaging box should have obvious and durable text marks and symbols. Its contents include:
Manufacturer's name and address;
Consignee's name and address;
Product model, name, quantity and weight: Mark "upward", "moisture-proof" and other caution words or symbols. 7.3 Documents supplied with the product:
Packing list;
"Product certificate.
7.4 'Transportation and storage
The packaging box shall not be exposed to rain during transportation and storage. The product shall be placed in a warehouse without corrosive gas, ventilated and dry.
7.5 Warranty period
Under the condition of complying with the rules of transportation, storage and use, the warranty period of the product is 12 months after shipment. The total warranty period is stipulated by the product technical conditions, but at least 18 months from the date of shipment. During the warranty period, if a fault is caused by manufacturing quality problems, the manufacturer shall repair or replace it for the user free of charge.

Each product should be fixed with a durable and flame-retardant nameplate with the following content in a conspicuous position: a.
Product model and name;
Rated working voltage and frequency (for AC); manufacturer name;
Manufacture year and month;
Weight;
Product number;
Ship inspection mark;
Quality grade mark.
7.2 When the product leaves the factory, the packaging box must be strong and suitable for water and land transportation and loading and unloading requirements. The outer wall of the packaging box should have obvious and durable text marks and symbols. The content includes:
Manufacturer name and address;
Consignee name and address;
Product model, name, quantity and weight: Mark "upward", "moisture-proof" and other caution words or symbols. 7.3 Documents supplied with the product:
Packing list;
"Product certificate.
7.4 'Transportation and storage
The packaging box shall not be exposed to rain during transportation and storage. The product shall be placed in a warehouse without corrosive gas, ventilated and dry.
7.5 Warranty period
Under the condition of complying with the rules of transportation, storage and use, the warranty period of the product is 12 months after shipment. The total warranty period is stipulated by the product technical conditions, but at least 18 months from the date of shipment. During the warranty period, if a fault is caused by manufacturing quality problems, the manufacturer shall repair or replace it for the user free of charge.
