1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the purpose, content and preparation instructions for the preparation of general technical regulations for containers, heat exchangers and special equipment, and is applicable to design technology management and quality management. 2 General technical regulations for equipment are prepared from
2.0.1 General technical regulations for equipment are a set of general technical regulations for equipment design, manufacturing and inspection compiled by the design unit. They are important technical attachments for equipment procurement (inquiry, ordering). They are usually compiled according to equipment categories and are applicable to general projects.
2.0.2 The general technical provisions for equipment are used in conjunction with equipment diagrams (equipment engineering drawings) and/or equipment data sheets in engineering procurement activities. They are the improvement and supplement of the design, manufacturing and inspection requirements in the equipment diagrams (equipment engineering drawings) and/or equipment data sheets. The purpose of their compilation is to tell bidders and suppliers (companies) what regulations and requirements should be followed for the design, material selection, manufacturing and inspection of the equipment they provide.
Contents of general technical provisions for equipment
Although the design, manufacturing and inspection requirements of various types of equipment are different, the basic contents of general technical provisions for equipment are similar, generally including six parts: general principles, design, materials, manufacturing, heat treatment, inspection and testing. 3.1 General
3.1.1 Scope The content and scope of application of this regulation are briefly described. 92
3.1.2 Specifications, standards and related technical documents - List the specifications, standards and engineering regulations and standards related to this type of equipment: - Indicate the handling method when the drawings and technical documents provided by the bidder or supplier deviate from these regulations and related documents:
- Indicate the priority order and handling method when there are differences in various related technical regulations and engineering documents. 3.1.3 Statement
Overview Describe the general requirements for the equipment design of the supplier (commercial) and the responsibilities of the supplier (commercial). Basic allowable stress
Describe the value of the basic allowable stress when the pressure parts (components) and non-pressure parts (components) use materials specified in the specifications and the calculation method of the basic allowable stress when using materials not specified in the specifications; specify the value of the basic allowable stress of the anchor bolts. 3.2.3
Shell and head
- Describe the design requirements for the welded joints of the shell and head. Opening reinforcement
Describe the selection requirements of the shell and head opening reinforcement structure type; describe the reinforcement design requirements.
3.2.5 Pipe
Describe the pipe connection design requirements:
-Describe the orientation requirements of the internal and external pipe flange bolt holes;-Describe the reinforcement requirements of small diameter pipes. 3.2.6 Manholes and handholes
Describe the selection principles of manhole and handhole connection surfaces: describe the manhole and handhole pipe structure type. 3.2.7

Preparation Notes
4.0.1 The requirements of this standard for the content of general technical provisions for equipment are proposed for general pressure vessels. For some typical equipment (for example, various types of heat exchangers, storage tanks, special equipment, etc.), some aspects of the content can be added or deleted as appropriate according to the characteristics and requirements of the equipment.
4.0.2 When compiling the general technical provisions for equipment, it should be complete and accurate to meet the requirements for compiling procurement technical documents in engineering design. For general projects, it is usually selected without re-compilation, and it is only organized and compiled when the general technical provisions for equipment are missing. For a specific project or a certain procurement package of equipment, if some requirements are not included in the selected general technical provisions for equipment, they can be proposed in the schematic diagram (equipment engineering drawing) of a certain equipment or supplemented in the technical specification or purchase order of a certain equipment.
