Some standard content:
GB 16917.22—1997 This standard is equivalent to IEC1009-2-2:1991 "Residual current operated circuit breakers with overcurrent protection for household and similar purposes (RCHO) Part 2-2: Applicability of general rules to RCBOs with action function related to line voltage". By adopting IEC standards, the standards of residual current operated circuit breakers with overcurrent protection for household and similar purposes in my country are consistent with international standards to meet the needs of international trade, technical and economic exchanges. This standard must be used together with GB 16917.1—1997 "Residual current operated circuit breakers with overcurrent protection for household and similar purposes (RCBO) Part 1: General rules". This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Machinery Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for the Promotion of Low Voltage Electrical Appliances. This standard was drafted by the Shanghai Electric Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. The main drafters of this standard are: Zhou Jigang, Sun Zhu, and Lv Yinghua. GB 16917. 22—1997 IEC Foreword 1) Formal decisions or agreements on technical questions drawn up by technical committees in which all the national committees particularly concerned participate express, as far as possible, international consensus on the issues involved. 2) These decisions and agreements are made available for international use in the form of recommendations and are recognized by the national committees in this sense. 3) In order to promote international unification, IEC encourages all national committees, as far as national conditions permit, to adopt IEC recommendations as their national specifications. Any inconsistencies between IEC recommendations and corresponding national specifications should be indicated as clearly as possible in the national specifications. This part of International Standard IEC 1009 has been prepared by [EC Technical Committee 23\E, Electrical Accessories, "Circuit-breakers and similar devices for household use\].
