Some standard content:
National Standard of the People's Republic of China Uniform bar code symbol location for commodity Uniform bar code symbol location for commoditySubject content and scope of application This standard specifies the bar code symbol location selection principle and the location of the universal bar code symbol. This standard applies to the universal bar code. Referenced Standards GB12904 Universal Bar Code for Commodities GB12905 Bar Code System General Terminology Bar Code Symbol Terminology 3 Bar Code Symbol Location Selection Principle The selection of the bar code symbol location should be based on the principle that the symbol is not deformed and is easy to read and easy to operate. 3.1 First, it should be selected on the right side of the main display surface of the commodity packaging. 3.2 Secondly, it can be selected on the plane connected to the main display surface of the commodity packaging. 3.3 Finally, it can also be selected on the back of the main display surface of the commodity packaging. 4 Barcode symbol position 4.1 Curvature of barcode symbol 4.1.1 On products with curved surfaces, the bars of the barcode symbol shall be perpendicular to the generatrix of the curved surface, as shown in Figure 1. Barcode symbol GB/T 14257-93 4.1.2 When the bars are parallel to the printing direction and parallel to the generatrix, the curvature of the barcode symbol surface shall not exceed 30°, as shown in Figure 2. If the package diameter is too small, the barcode symbol shall be rotated 90° and arranged as shown in Figure 1. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on March 20, 1993 278 Implementation on May 1, 1993 GB/T14257-93 Barcode symbol Product surface Barcode symbol The magnification factor of the barcode symbol on the curved surface is related to the diameter of the curved surface. For the selection of product packaging diameter and barcode magnification factor of universal product barcode, please refer to Appendix A. 4.2 Box-type packaging 4.2.1 For box-type packaging, the barcode symbol is best printed on the bottom of the box, and try to avoid printing it in the center, see Figure 3. Barcode symbol 4.2.2 For rectangular packaging, the barcode symbol is best printed in the center of the long side of the bottom of the box. 4.3 Canned and bottled The barcode symbol is best printed on the lower side of the label paper, see Figure 4. Barcode symbol 4.4 Barcode packaging 4.4.1 The barcode symbol is best printed on the side of the barrel packaging, see Figure 5 (a). 4.4.2 When the side cannot be printed, the barcode symbol can be printed on the lid of the barrel packaging, but the depth of the lid cannot exceed 12mm, see Figure 5 (b). If the liquid is easy to leak, the barcode symbol cannot be printed on the lid. 279 4.5 Bag-type packaging GB/T14257—93 Barcode symbol - Barcode symbol 4.5.1 When there is a bottom and the bottom is large enough, the barcode symbol should be printed on the bottom, see Figure 6(a), otherwise it can be printed in the center of the lower back. 4.5.2 For large-volume bag packaging, the barcode symbol is printed on the lower right side of the back, but it should be avoided to print it too low to prevent the barcode symbol from being distorted, see Figure 6(b). 4.5.3 For small plastic bags or paper bags without a bottom, the barcode symbol is printed in the center of the lower back. If there is a seam in the center of the back, it should be printed on the lower right side, or printed in a place that will not wrinkle or deform after filling, see Figure 6(c). Barcode symbol Barcode symbol 4.6 Blister packaging Barcode symbol 4.6.1 The barcode symbol is preferably printed on the front of the cardboard, and the height of the protruding package from the cardboard shall not exceed 12 mm, see Figure 7. Limited to 12 and m Barcode symbol 4.6.2 When the height of the protruding package from the cardboard is greater than 12 mm, the barcode symbol should be placed as far away from the protruding package as possible, see Figure 8. 280 Size exceeds 12 mm 4.7 Other forms GB/T14257--93 Barcode symbol Some product barcode symbols can be printed on the tag, see Figure 9 (a), (b). A1 Packaging diameter, mm General commodity label Note: ☆ indicates that the packaging diameter is too small, and the barcode symbol should not be placed perpendicular to the bottom surface of the cylinder. Large The relationship between the selection of A2UPC barcode symbol magnification factor and the diameter of the product packaging is shown in Table A222 General commodity shortened version Packaging diameter, mm GB/T14257—93www.bzxz.net Note: ☆ indicates that the packaging diameter is too small, and the barcode symbol should not be placed vertically on the bottom of the cylinder.
