Standardized EPC data includes the EPC (or EPC identifier) that uniquely identifies a single object and the additional information required to effectively interpret the EPC tag. 4 Coding principles 4.1 Uniqueness The EPC code for agricultural products provides a globally unique identification of agricultural product objects. One EPC code only identifies one physical object. In order to ensure the realization of unique identification of physical objects, the following measures should be taken when formulating coding standards: 1. Coding capacity. There must be enough EPC codes to meet the needs of agricultural product identification in the past, present and future. Organizational guarantee. A unified organization must be responsible for the allocation of EPC codes, ensure the uniqueness of EPC code allocation and seek ways to resolve coding conflicts. Use cycle. For a physical object, the usage cycle is consistent with the life cycle of the physical object, and the EPC code cannot be reassigned to the product, that is, the usage cycle of the agricultural material EPC code is permanent. 4.2 Simplicity The agricultural material EPC code should be simple, easy to identify and unique. 3 Scalability The agricultural material EPC code should be scalable and have sufficient spare space to ensure the upgrade and sustainable development of the EPC system. 1 GH/T1086—2013 4.4 Confidentiality and security The agricultural material EPC code should be combined with security and encryption technology to ensure confidentiality and security. 5 Coding type and coding structure 5.1 Coding type The EPC coding type of this agricultural material product adopts the serialized global trade item number (SGTIN) coding type. The EPC code of agricultural inputs is composed of the following information elements: Manufacturer identification code: The SGTIN manufacturer identification code is the same as the manufacturer identification code defined in GB12904. Product item code: Assigned to a specific object classification by the management entity. The product item code in the EPC code is obtained from the product item code of the 13-digit retail product code defined in 4.1 of GB12904-2008, and the packaging indicator defined in 4.1 of GB/T16830-2008 is added to form a single integer. Serial number: Assigned to a single object by the management entity. The serial number is not part of the 13-digit retail product code, but officially becomes a part of SGTIN. Note: SGTIN is a new type of identification, which is based on the 13-digit retail product code defined in GB12904. A single 13-digit retail product code does not meet the definition in the EPC identification because it cannot uniquely identify a specific physical object. The 13-digit retail product code identifies a specific object class, such as a specific product class or SKU. In order to create a unique identifier for a single object, the management entity is responsible for assigning a unique serial number to a single object classification. The combination of a 13-digit retail product code and a unique serial number is called a Serialized Global Trade Item Number (SGTIN). The SGTIN EPC coding scheme allows the 13-digit retail product code and serial number to be directly embedded in the EPC tag. In all cases, the check digit in the 13-digit retail product code is not encoded. 5.2 Coding Structure The EPC code for agricultural products uses the SGTIN code, which is a set of numbers consisting of a header plus five other data segments (filter value, partition, manufacturer identification code, product item code, and serial number, respectively). The header identifies the type of EPC, which specifies the length of the code segment that follows the EPC: the filter value is used for fast filtering and basic product types: the partition indicates the separation position of the subsequent manufacturer identification code and commodity item code: the manufacturer identification code describes the information of the manufacturer related to this EPC, such as "XX Pesticide Co., Ltd.": the commodity item code records the precise type of the commodity, such as "biological pesticides produced by XX Pesticide Co., Ltd." The serial number uniquely identifies the goods and accurately points to a specific pesticide commodity. The general structure of the EPC code for agricultural products is one bit, consisting of a header, a filter value, a partition, a manufacturer identification code, a commodity item code, and a serial number, as shown in Table 1 and Table 2. Table 1General structure of EPC code for agricultural products (binary) Manufacturer 8 bits. Fixed value 00110000 8 bits, fixed value 00110000 3 bits, fixed value 011 3 bits, weekly fixed value 011 3 bits, weekly fixed value 100 3 bits, fixed value 100 Identification code Commodity item code Indicator Item code Serial number Commodity category Commodity random Serial number||t t||2 digits, fixed 2 digits, fixed 1 digit, fixed 1 digit, fixed Table 2 General structure of EPC code for agricultural products (decimal) Manufacturer 1 digit, fixed 1 digit, fixed Identification code Commodity item code Indicator Item code GH/T1086-2013 Serial number Commodity category Commodity random Serial number Header: The header defines the total length, identification type (function) and EPC code structure, including its filter value (if any). Filter value :Filter value is used for quick filtering and basic product type pre-selection. The filter value of EPC code for agricultural products is uniformly specified as 011. Partition: Partition indicates the separation position of the subsequent manufacturer identification code and commodity item code. The manufacturer identification code is 27 or 24 binary bits, and the corresponding commodity item code (including indicator) is 17 or 20 binary bits. Manufacturer identification code: The manufacturer identification code describes the information of the manufacturer related to this EPC product. The manufacturer identification code in the EPC coding standard for agricultural products is a variable bit, which is 7 or 8 decimal digits, that is, 17 or 20 binary bits. Note: The manufacturer identification code is uniformly allocated by the national article coding management agency. Indicator: Packaging level 0 is the single product level, usually defaulting to 0.1 to 8 are packaging levels, 9 is a variable, see GB/T16830. Commodity item code: 4 or 5 digits of the commodity item code in the 13-digit retail commodity code. Agricultural product category: usually represented by 4 decimal digits. The first digit represents the major category of agricultural products, and the last three digits represent the minor category of agricultural products. Commodity random serial number: The serial number contains a continuous number. And this continuous number only contains numbers, represented by 8 decimal digits. 6 Agricultural product classification code Agricultural product classification code See Table 3 to Table 5.
