1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
HG/T2643-94
This standard specifies the basic requirements for the structural form, specification parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, etc. of flange-connected ridge-type diaphragm valves made of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene. This standard is applicable to glass fiber reinforced polypropylene ridge-type diaphragm valves (hereinafter referred to as diaphragm valves) with nominal pressure PN < 0.6MPa, operating temperature -14 ~ 100°C and flange connection with nominal diameter DN15 ~ 250mm. Diaphragm valves with nominal diameter DN> 250mm can be used for reference.

4.1 Materials
Glass fiber used as reinforcement material shall comply with the provisions of JC278, and diaphragm material shall comply with the provisions of HG2-531 referenced standards. 4.1.2
The materials of the parts of the diaphragm valve shall have a certificate of conformity and comply with the relevant standards. The physical and mechanical properties of the glass fiber reinforced polypropylene injection molding specimen shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. 4.1.4

4.2 Parts requirements
4.2.1 All parts dimensions and processing requirements shall comply with the design drawings. Index requirements

4.2.2 Injection molded parts shall not have defects such as shrinkage holes, bubbles, drawing, wrinkles, delamination, sharp corners, cracks, etc. The surface shall be smooth, bright and uniform in color.
The surface of the metal reinforcing plate and fasteners of the diaphragm valve flange should be treated with anti-corrosion. The parallelism of the flange sealing surfaces at both ends of the diaphragm valve should comply with the provisions of GB1184, with an accuracy of 12. 4.2.4
The number of fatigue tests on the diaphragm should comply with the provisions of JB/TQ408. 4.2.6 The handwheel should be marked with an arrow in the closing direction or a two-way arrow for the switch and the words "open" and "close". 4.3 Assembly requirements
4.3.1 The opening height (approximate value) of the center point of the partition wall in the valve body and the diaphragm diaphragm sealing rib should comply with the provisions of Table 3. Table 3

Insert thread shall comply with the provisions of GB193 coarse tooth butterfly pattern. The metal insert shall not be exposed on the surface of the injection molded part and a certain plastic layer thickness shall be maintained. 4.3.2
Installation Before assembly, all parts should be cleaned of dirt and kept clean. 4.3.4 During assembly, the valve stem, nut and sliding parts must be coated with lubricating grease. After assembly, manual operation should be carried out, and the operation should be smooth, opening and closing should be flexible, and there should be no obstruction. 4.3.5
When the diaphragm valve body is pressure tested, the test pressure should be no less than 1.5 times the nominal pressure, and there should be no leakage and structural damage. 4.4
When the diaphragm valve seal is tested, the test pressure should be no less than 1.1 times the nominal pressure, and there should be no leakage. When the diaphragm valve is subjected to a water pressure burst test, the bursting pressure should be no less than 4 times the nominal pressure. 4.6

5 Test methods
5.1 Physical and mechanical tests of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene injection molded specimens of diaphragm valves shall be carried out in accordance with the following methods. 5.1.1 Pull Tensile strength is tested according to GB1447
Bending strength is tested according to GB1449
Compression strength is tested according to GB1448,
Impact strength is tested according to GB1451.
Specific gravity is tested according to GB1463
5.1.6 Martin heat resistance is tested according to GB1035
5.1.7 Hardness is tested according to GB3398,
5.2 Pressure test
5.2.1 Valve body pressure test is carried out according to GB4981. Test pressure holding time is as specified in Table 4, and sealing pressure test is carried out according to GB4981. Test pressure holding time is as specified in Table 4,5.2.2

5.3 Fatigue test

6 Inspection rules

Raw material inspection
The inspection of materials used for diaphragm valves shall be carried out in accordance with Article 4.1. Materials that do not meet the requirements shall not be used. Parts inspection
6.2.1 Parts shall be inspected piece by piece according to the drawings. 6.2.2 The surface quality and geometric dimensions of parts shall comply with Article 4.2.6.2.3 The valve body shall be pressure tested piece by piece according to Article 4.4.6.3 Factory inspection
Diaphragm valves shall be subjected to sealing tests before leaving the factory.6.4 Type inspection
6.4.1 Type inspection shall be carried out in any of the following situations: When a new product is put into production;
b. When there are major changes in materials, processes, and structures; when resuming production after a long-term shutdown;
d. When the superior inspection department requires type inspection; >125~250
e. During normal production, the number of type inspections for each specification shall not be less than once a year. 6.4.2 Each specification of diaphragm valves is 2,000 as a batch. When the annual output is less than 2,000, the annual output is used as a batch, and 3 units are selected from them to check the bursting pressure and hardness.
6.4.3 The type inspection items are all the contents specified in Chapter 4 of this standard. 6.4.4 If one of the type inspection items is unqualified, the unqualified items shall be doubled for sampling inspection. If they still fail to meet the requirements, the batch of products shall be judged as unqualified products.

6.4.5 When the user has special requirements for the product or needs to conduct a burst test, it is necessary to negotiate between the two parties and indicate it in the order agreement. 7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage
7.1 Marking
The diaphragm valve body should be marked with the nominal pressure (PN), nominal diameter (DN), manufacturer's name or trademark. 7.2 Packaging
The diaphragm valve inlet and outlet should be sealed before packaging. Generally, corrugated paper boxes can be used for packaging, and wooden crates are used for large-diameter diaphragm valves. The outside of the packaging box should have a moisture-proof coating. The packaging box should be accompanied by an inner packaging bag and product manual, product certificate and packing list. 7.2.1 The product certificate should include the following contents: a.
Manufacturer name and date of production;
b. Product name and model;
Nominal pressure, nominal diameter;
d. The standard, inspection conclusion and inspection date; factory number:
f. Signature and seal of the inspector and the responsible inspector, 7.2.2 The product manual shall include the following contents: manufacturer name;
applicable medium and temperature;
working principle and structural description;
structural diagram with main external dimensions and connection dimensions; materials of main parts:
f. Precautions for maintenance, care, installation and use; g. Possible faults and elimination methods; h.
list of accessories.
7.2.3 The product packing list shall include the following contents: a. Order contract number;
b. Manufacturer name and factory date:
Product name, model and nominal diameter;
d. Product quantity and net weight;
Name and number of accompanying documents
The product packing list shall be stamped with the seal of the manufacturer's packing inspector and the inspection date. 7.2.4 The packaging of the product shall meet the requirements of transportation and storage. The packaging box shall be marked with the product name, model, specification, quantity, net weight, manufacturer name and factory date.
7.3 Transportation The diaphragm valve should be in a closed state during transportation or storage, but it should not be too tight to prevent damage to the diaphragm. 7.4 Storage Products should be stored in a dry room and stacked neatly.
