This standard has the following changes to some chapters of GB/T5605--1996 "Acetate Filter Rods for Tobacco and Tobacco Products": the definition of roundness has been modified, the definition of "single sample" has been cancelled, and some definitions have been added; the tolerance value of pressure drop has been reduced, and the pressure drop value is specified to be accurate to 10Pa; the hardness has been changed from "89%" to "according to design requirements"; the moisture has been changed from "≤7%" to "<8.0%"; the roundness has been changed from "≤0.25mm" to "<0.35mm"; the appearance has been listed separately from the "physical indicators of filter rods"; the sampling method of GB2828-1987 "Batch-by-Batch Inspection Count Sampling Procedure and Sampling Table (Applicable to Inspection of Continuous Batch)" has been cancelled. Sampling is divided into two types: delivery inspection and type inspection, and specific methods are specified; the test method adopts the latest industry standards, and the test methods for burst holes and internal bonding lines have been added; and the veto items of the filter rod judgment rules have been added. This standard replaces GB/T5605-1996 "Acetate Fiber Filter Rods for Tobacco and Tobacco Products".

6.1 Delivery inspection
The same name, same specification, and same type of filter rods delivered at one time are considered as a batch. When the number of a batch is less than 200 boxes, five boxes are selected from different parts; when the number of boxes is between 200 and 500, 10 boxes are selected from different parts; when the number of boxes is more than 500, 15 boxes are selected from different parts. Then one box is selected from each box. When a batch is less than five boxes, 1 to 2 boxes are randomly selected from each box, for a total of five boxes. According to the number of boxes taken, about 125, 60, 40, and 125 filter rods are randomly selected from each box as laboratory samples, and the total number of samples taken is not less than 600. 6.2 Type inspection
The same name, same specification, and same type of filter rods are considered as a batch. Five boxes are selected from different parts of each batch of products, and one box is randomly selected from each box, for a total of five boxes. Then about 125 filter rods are randomly selected from each box as laboratory samples, and the total number of samples taken is not less than 600. 6.3 Item Judgment Rules
6.3.1 The test results of circumference, pressure drop, hardness, length, roundness and moisture content shall be rounded off according to the significant figures in the technical requirements in 4.2. The rounding method shall be in accordance with GB/T8170.
