This standard specifies the method for measuring the 45° mirror gloss of glazed ceramic samples and other samples with similar reflective characteristics. This standard is applicable to comparing the gloss of ceramic products, and can also be used to study the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and other external factors of ceramic products through the measurement of gloss loss. GB/T3295—1996 Foreword This standard is revised with reference to the relevant provisions of the American Society for Testing and Materials standard ASTMC346-76 (reviewed in 1981) "Standard Test Method for 45° Specular Gloss of Ceramic Materials", and ASTMC346-76 is adopted in a non-equivalent manner. In addition to the editorial revision of GB3295-82 in accordance with GB/T1.1-1993 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Unit 1: Drafting and Expression Rules for Standards Part 1: Basic Regulations for Writing Standards", this standard has been changed in the following chapters: - Added Chapter 1 Scope, Chapter 2 Terms and Chapter 3 Principles. The original test instrument in Chapter 1 was changed to Chapter 4 Instrument Device, and the requirements for instrument stability and indication error in Article 4.1 were added; the content of the standard plate in Article 4.2 was added. 1. In the test method of Chapter 6, the specified conditions of laboratory light intensity are added through experimental verification: Article 6.2.3 is revised, and the original search for the maximum reflectivity of the sample is changed to measuring five points on each sample. The relevant contents of Chapter 7 Calculation and Result Expression and Chapter 8 Test Report are added. From the date of implementation of this standard, the original GB3295-82 "Method for Determination of Glossiness of Daily Ceramics" is invalid. Appendix A of this standard is the appendix of the standard. This standard is proposed by the Quality Standards Department of China Light Industry General Association. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Ceramic Standardization Center. The responsible drafting unit of this standard: China Light Industry General Association Ceramic Research Institute. This standard is suitable for comparing the gloss of ceramic products, and can also be used to study the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and other external factors of ceramic products through the measurement of gloss loss. The influence of other external factors on the surface of the product. 2 Terminology 2.1 Specular gloss Under the same conditions, the ratio of the reflected light intensity of the sample and the reference push plate in the specular reflection direction multiplied by 100. 2.2 Reference push plate When the surface is in an ideal polished state, the gloss of a black glass plate with a refractive index of 1.567 is set to 100 gloss units. 3 Principle At a specified incident angle, a light beam with certain conditions is used to illuminate the standard plate and the sample to be tested respectively, and the reflected light intensity of the sample and the standard plate is measured at its specular reflection angle under certain receiving conditions. The gloss value of the sample is calculated according to formula (1): G, (o) Where: G()——gloss value of the sample: ()——spectral reflection intensity of the sample: y(0)——spectral reflection intensity of the standard plate. 4 Instrument loading 4.1 Gloss meter (の) The geometric angle is 45°, the instrument stability is not more than ±0.4 gloss unit, and the indication error is not more than ±1.2 gloss unit. 4.2 Standard plate (1) 4.2.1 The first-level standard plate adopts a highly polished black glass plate. The gloss of the black glass plate with a refractive index of 1.567 is set to 100. 4.2.2 The working standard plate adopts a ceramic plate or a polished black glass plate with a flat surface, uniform light, and good wear resistance. The working standard plate should be regularly calibrated with the first-level standard plate on the gloss meter. 5 Sample The sample surface should have no obvious unevenness, warping or cracks. Quantity three pieces. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on June 25, 1996. Implemented on January 1, 1997. 6 Test methods 6.1 Test conditions GB/T 3295-1996 Gloss measurement is required to be carried out in an environment where the light intensity is not more than 20Ix (the light intensity used for street lighting). 6.2 Test steps 6.2.1 Preheat and stabilize the instrument according to the instrument operating procedures. 6.2.2 Calibrate the instrument with a working standard plate. 6.2.3 Wipe the surface of the sample clean and measure five points on the surface of each sample, trying to make the measuring surface contact with the working surface of the measuring window. 6.3 When measuring the gloss loss of the sample, the measuring position and direction before and after the sample treatment should be fixed. 7 Calculation and result expression 7.1 The arithmetic mean of each group of samples is taken as the gloss value of the sample. If the deviation between a single measured value and the average value is greater than 10%, the value shall be discarded. If necessary, the average value and the limit value shall be recorded, retaining one decimal place. 7.2 The gloss shall be calculated according to formula (2): Where: X——gloss of the sample; -single gloss measurement value of the sample. 7.3 The gloss change value shall be calculated according to formula (3) and (4): 1 G -G. 100 Gloss loss (%) = Retained gloss value three Where: G,-—average gloss value before treatment; Gr—average gloss value after treatment. 8Test Report The test report shall include the following contents: a) sample name, specification and quantity; b) sample sending unit and date; c) standard; d) instrument specification, model and manufacturer; e) measurement results, and, if necessary, explanation of samples with large deviations between individual gloss values and the average value or other situations; f) measurement unit, date and measurement personnel. .(2) GB/T3295—1996 Appendix A (Appendix to the standard)bZxz.net Conversion of gloss value when the corresponding standard limit of refractive index is 1.540 In the measurement of the mirror gloss of ceramic products, if the corresponding standard n of the refractive index is 1.540 according to some foreign standards, the gloss value of the gloss plate is relative to the gloss value of np of 1.567. Under natural light conditions, there is the following conversion relationship: Gs(0) - KG(0) Where: Gg() corresponds to the gloss value when the standard np is 1.567; G:()——gloss value when the corresponding standard nD is 1.540; K-conversion coefficient, when 6=45\.K0.559. .(41) Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
