Hardness value calculation formula
The hardness range and uniformity requirements of standard blocks are shown in Table 2. The uniformity of the standard block refers to the difference between the hardness values ​​of each point measured at different positions of the workpiece of the standard block using a standard Rockwell hardness machine under the condition of unchanged verification conditions.

6.2.2.1 Hardness calibration shall be carried out on the standard machine. Before each calibration, the correction value of the standard machine shall be calculated. According to the hardness range of the hardness block to be tested, the standard block used for the indication of the corresponding calibration standard machine shall be used. The difference between the half value of the 5-point hardness value of the standard machine and the standard value of the standard block is the indication error of the standard machine. The image of the standard machine is equal to the indication error value and has the same sign.

The difference between the hardness value and the minimum value in the 5 points is the uniformity of the standard block. The uniformity shall meet the requirements of Table 2 in 4.1. 6.2.2.9 In the subsequent verification, the difference between the hardness value of this verification and the hardness value of the previous verification shall meet the requirements of stability in Table 2 in 4.1.
6.3 Handling of verification results
6.3.1 A verification certificate shall be issued to the standard block that has passed the verification according to the requirements of this regulation. A verification result notice shall be issued to the standard block that has failed the verification.
6.3.2 The hardness value of the standard block shall be engraved on the workpiece. 6.4 Verification cycle
For the standard block after the first verification, the verification cycle is 1 year; for the standard block that has passed the re-inspection after 1 year and meets the requirements of H stability, the verification cycle is 2 years.
