National Standard of the People's Republic of China Test method for gloss of plastics gravure printing inks1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the test method for gloss of gravure plastic inks. This standard is applicable to the test of gloss of gravure plastic inks. 2 Principle GB/T 13217. 291 The gloss is measured by a photoelectric gloss meter. Under the irradiation of a fixed light source, the ratio of the reflected light measured by the sample and the standard surface is used to express the gloss of the sample ink (the reflected light measured by the standard surface is 100%). 3 Materials 3.1 Low-density polyethylene film: After electric spark treatment, the surface wetting tension is 38×10-5~40×10-5N/cm (38~40dyn/cm), and the thickness is 0.05±0.01mm. 3.2 Black base paper: that is, black paper used for packaging photographic photosensitive materials. 3.3 Scrubbing solvent: ethanol or gasoline. 4 InstrumentswwW.bzxz.Net 4.1 KGZ-1 mirror gloss meter (60° angle). 4.2 Photometric platform: the friction platform of 571B color fastness meter. 4.3 Wire rod: copper rod body $9±0.05mm, length 170mm, stainless steel wire winding part length 100±0.50mm, steel wire g0.12mm, closely wound and arranged, neatly without gaps. 4.4 Glass rod: 7mm, length 250mm. 5' Inspection conditions The inspection should be carried out under the conditions of temperature 25±1℃ and humidity 65%±5%. 6 Test steps 6.1 Place the test ink on the low-density polyethylene film with a glass rod, and use a wire rod to forcefully scrape the ink from top to bottom into a thin layer. The printed sample is 60mm wide and 100mm long. After leaving it for 2 hours, measure the light. 6.2 Place the accurately adjusted gloss meter probe on the low-density polyethylene film scraped sample with black paper on the bottom, use the light measuring table to flatten the film, and read the data. Test results To measure the printed sample, it is necessary to select the upper, middle and lower points to measure, and calculate the average value, which is the gloss value of the ink. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on September 14, 1991 and implemented on August 1, 1992 Additional instructions: GB/T13217.2-91 This standard is proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Inks.
