This standard is a revision of GB7025-86 based on the international standard ISO4190/2:1982 "Installation of Passenger Elevators—Part 2: Class IV Elevators", and is equivalent to the international standard in terms of technical content. In order to adapt to the adoption of international standards for elevator products, facilitate international technical exchanges and the import and export of elevator products, this standard adopts a classification method consistent with ISO4190, that is, the categories of elevators are defined as: Class I: Elevators designed for transporting passengers. Class II: Elevators designed mainly for transporting passengers and also for transporting goods. Class II: Elevators designed for transporting beds. Class IV: Elevators designed for transporting goods usually accompanied by people. Class V: Miscellaneous elevators.
The contents of Class I and Class I sub-class elevators have been discussed in GB/T7025.1. The contents of Class V elevators are discussed in GB/T7025.3. Since special standards have been formulated for hydraulic elevators, this standard cancels the relevant contents of hydraulic elevators in the original standard. During the implementation of GB7025-86, elevator manufacturers and users hope to expand the parameters of Class IV elevators. After repeated solicitation of opinions, the unanimously recognized rated load of 3000kg, 5000kg, rated speed of 0.25m/s and other relevant data are added to the standard during this revision.
This standard will replace GB7025-86 from the date of entry into force. This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Elevator Standardization. The drafting units of this standard are: China Schindler Elevator Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Elevator Industry Co., Ltd., Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator Co., Ltd., and Shenyang Elevator Factory.
The main drafters of this standard are: Du Xiaohui, Jiang Wenhan, Huang Shankang, Qiao Baolin, and Liu Hanxiang. W.bzsoso.coI Engineering Construction Standard Full Text Information System

ISO Foreword
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation composed of national standardization bodies (ISO member bodies). The formulation of international standards is usually completed by ISO's technical committees. Each member country has the right to participate in the technical committee of its interest. International associations, governmental and non-governmental, associated with ISO can participate in international standardization work. Before the draft international standards proposed by the technical committees are adopted as international standards by the ISO Council, they are sent to the member countries for comments.
International Standard ISO4190/2 has been formulated by ISO/TC178 Elevators, Escalators and Moving Walkways Technical Committee and sent to member countries for comments in March 1981.
The following member states have expressed their approval of this international standard: Austria
Belgium
Czechoslovakia
Romania
Spain
Hungary
Ireland
Italy
Venezuela
The following member states have expressed objections for certain technical reasons: Canada

This standard adopts the following definitions.
3.1 Class IV elevators (goods elevators) lifts of class IV (goods lift) are elevators designed mainly for transporting goods usually escorted by people. 4 Main parameters of elevators
4.1 Rated load
630, 1000, 1600, 2000, 3000, 5000 kg4.2 Rated speed
0.25, 0.40, 0.63, 1.00 m/s
5 Type and size of car, shaft and machine room 5.1 The type and size of the class IV elevator car, shaft and machine room determined according to the main parameters of the elevator shall comply with the provisions of Table 1, Figure 1 and Figure 2. 5.2 The horizontal size of the elevator shaft specified in this standard is the minimum clearance size measured with a plumb bob. The allowable deviation value is: when the height of the shaft is <30m: 0~+25mm; when the height of the shaft is 30m<<60m: 0~+35mm. The above deviations are only applicable to elevators with rigid metal guide rails for counterweight devices. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on October 16, 1997 and implemented on June 1, 1998

If the elevator counterweight device is equipped with a safety clamp, the width and depth of the shaft are allowed to be appropriately increased as needed. 5.3 The distance between two adjacent floor stations shall meet the following requirements: When the floor door entrance height is 2100mm, it shall not be less than 2550mm. When the floor door entrance height is greater than 2100mm, it shall not be less than the door height plus 450mm. 5.4 Machine room layout
5.4.1 The machine room should be located above the parallel channel. 5.4.2 The rear wall of the machine room should be in a straight line with the wall corresponding to the shaft, and one of the two side walls of the machine room should be in a straight line with the wall corresponding to the parallel shaft.
5.4.3 The horizontal extension of the machine room relative to the shaft can be on the left or right side of the parallel shaft. The extension of the machine room relative to the depth direction of the shaft should be on the side of the elevator lobby. Table 1 Parameters and dimensions of Class IV elevators
