This standard is based on the 1991 edition of JB5317.3 "Conical rotor motor for chain electric reeds" On the basis, according to the needs of domestic and foreign technological development, three-phase (cylindrical rotor) asynchronous motor and disc brake motor are added as special motors for electric chain hoists. This version has the following main differences from the 1991 version: the name of the standard was changed to "Motor for Electric Chain Hoist"; the scope of application of the standard was expanded;
added reference standards;
added corresponding Technical requirements for two special motors, etc. 172

Motor for electric chain hoist
1 Subject content and scope of application
JB 5317.3-91
This standard Specifies the types, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, as well as signs of conical rotor motors, disc brake motors and three-phase (cylindrical rotor) asynchronous motors (hereinafter referred to as motors) for electric chain hoists, Packaging, transportation and storage requirements.
This standard is mainly applicable to motors for general-purpose electric chain hoists. It is also suitable for motors for special-purpose electric chain hoists (such as scaffolding hoists) and light and small lifting equipment such as wire rope electric hoists and electric hoists. Electric motors are used for the operating mechanisms of single-girder and electric single-girder suspension cranes.
For motors and voltages that do not meet the requirements of 3.2.2, motors with a frequency of 60Hz can also be adopted as a reference. 2 Reference standards
