This standard specifies the cutting and punching dimensions of unexposed motion picture films. HG/T2695-9S
Replaces HG7-1350-80
This standard applies to the dimensions of 70mm, 65mm, 35mm, 32mm, and 16mm motion picture raw films. 2. Classification Codes for Dimensions
In order to facilitate the marking of the cutting and punching dimensions of products on various technical documents, it is necessary to specify concise codes for the dimensions of motion picture films. The size code of 35mm film is composed of width, hole type code and vertical span. Its hole type code adopts the provisions of international standard ISO491, and P, N and DH represent three hole types. Other specifications of film have only one hole type, and its code is composed of film width and vertical span. 16mm movie film has two types of single and double row holes. Its code is distinguished by 1R and 2R in the middle of film width and vertical span. The size names, codes and application occasions of various films are listed in Table 1. Table

4.1 Film measurement should be carried out after reaching equilibrium under the conditions of temperature 23±2C and relative humidity 45%~55%. 4.2 Take 1.5m film as a sample from 3m behind the head of any roll of film or 3m before the tail end. Take 2 samples each time. The measurement data of the two samples are qualified if they all meet the indicators. The measurement results are processed by full numerical comparison method. 4.3 The dimensions of items A, B, C, D, E, and F are measured using an optical length comparator with an accuracy of 0.001mm. The dimensions of item G are measured using a tool microscope with a length measurement accuracy of 0.01mm and an angle measurement accuracy of 90°±1. The length of item L is measured using a length comparator or a special ruler (device) with an accuracy of 0.01mm. 4.4B value is obtained by measuring any 5 pairs (35mm, 65mm, 70mm film) or 3 pairs (32mm.16mm film) of sprocket holes of each sample. C, D, E values are obtained by measuring any 4 pairs (35 mm, 65 mm.70 mm film) or 2 pairs (32nm, 16mm) of sprocket holes of each sample. Application instructions for electro-color film size

The uniformity of the distance, the size of the film hole and the margin is an important factor affecting the stability of the image. Whether in a roll or in any continuous film hole, the size change from one hole to the next is the most important. A2 Dimensional stability
During the life of the film, it will lose or gain water and shrink or expand due to changes in temperature or humidity. In addition, triacetate and cheese film bases will shrink due to the loss of solvents or plasticizers, which can cause dimensional changes. Generally speaking, the changes in the whole roll are uniform. A3 Definition of low shrinkage film
After the following conditions, the film is measured under the same conditions. The difference between the original size when cutting and punching is less than 0.2% is a low shrinkage film.
Store in the original package for six months under the manufacturer's recommended conditions: b.

The long vertical span or short vertical span of electrocolor positive and negative film is determined by whether to print and the model of the printer. In most ordinary film printers, the negative and positive films must run continuously on the printing gear. The negative film span must be shorter than the positive film span. The degree of shortening is close to the ratio of the film thickness to the curvature radius of the printing gear. At present, the span difference of the printing machine gear design is 0.3%. Experience shows that the deviation can be 0.1%. Using a low shrinkage film base, the negative film span is generally designed to be 0.2% shorter than the positive film span. The negative film will shrink due to washing and aging before printing, which can achieve the desired span difference of (0.3±0.1)%. A5 Influence of humidity
Generally, the film will expand under high relative humidity. The allowance for this factor should be taken into account when designing equipment. Additional notes: This standard was proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Optical Materials. This standard was drafted and managed by the First Film Company of China Lucky Film Company.
