1 Scope
Environmental conditions for application of electrical and electronic products
Part 2: Transport
GB/T4798.2—2008
GB/T4798 This part classifies the environmental parameter groups and their severity to which the product is subjected during transportation from one place to another.
This part considers the most commonly used modes of transportation, mainly including the following: Road transportation: cars, trucks, animals, conveyors; Rail transportation: trains, trams, conveyors; Water transportation, inland and ocean transportation: ships, hovercraft, conveyors; Air transportation: airplanes, conveyors
Vertical transportation: cranes, transport elevators, cable cars. This part specifies the environmental conditions that the product may encounter during transportation. If the product is packaged, the environmental conditions apply to the packaged product. This part only includes relatively severe environmental conditions that are unfavorable to the product. The environmental conditions of the product during storage and use are given in other parts of GB/T4798. The purpose of this part is to classify the groups of environmental parameters that products may be subjected to during land, water and air transport, including loading and unloading. This part gives a limited number of environmental condition levels, but covers a wide range. The user should choose the lowest level that includes the environmental conditions to be transported. Guidance is given in Appendix A. 2 Normative references

Weatherprotected
The packaged or unpackaged product is in an enclosure that provides some environmental protection, ranging from a temperature-controlled container to a waterproof cover over the product. Ventilation conditions range from controlled airflow to natural air flow that occurs when the waterproof cover is raised. 3.2
Non-weatherprotected
No environmental protection measures are taken for the packaged or unpackaged product. 1

4Overview
To avoid misuse of the levels specified in GB/T4798, it is recommended to refer to GB/T4798.10—2006. The specified values of the severity level are all maximum values or limit values, which are unlikely to be exceeded, but may be reached for a short time. The frequency of occurrence may be different in different time periods under different circumstances. This section does not include the frequency of occurrence, but it should be considered for each environmental parameter. If possible, it should be specified separately. The information on duration and frequency of occurrence is given in Chapter 6 of GB/T4798.10—2006. It should be noted that the combination of several environmental parameters will increase the impact on the product. In particular, when high relative humidity and biological environmental conditions, chemically active substances, and mechanically active substances work together, the impact on the product is greater. 5 Environmental parameter groups and their severity classification
Climatic environmental conditions (K), special atmospheres
(S), and mechanical conditions (M) are classified according to Table 1
2C2/2S2/2M3, see Chapter 5
Climatic environmental conditions (Z), biological environmental conditions (B), chemically active substances (C), and mechanically active substances. For a given product, a set of grade descriptions should be used, such as 2K2/2B1/tropical area classification
K6 and 2K7 are described in Appendix C. The lowest grade combination
and the highest grade combination
2K5
2B1/2C//2S1/2M1 represent the environmental conditions to which the product is subjected under the most stringent transport conditions, while/|2C3/2S3/2M4 include a wide range of transport conditions, including very severe environmental conditions. The high-level environmental conditions generally include all the conditions of the lower grades. For some environments
, the number of conditions included in each grade
is currently difficult to quantify its severity. The environmental conditions are given in A3 in A. In Appendix
6 Environmental Condition Grade Groups
, as described in Chapter 5, when used, the classification allows for a variety of environmental condition combinations that the product may be subjected to. Therefore, there are many possible level combinations and flexibility. However, in practice, this flexibility is not always beneficial. For example, when different organizations formulate environmental conditions for a certain place, small but relatively disturbing differences may occur. In order to limit the possibility of general situations, standard level combinations can be selected from Table 6. In this part, if IE22 is selected, for a specified place or product, it can be referred to when there is no corresponding environmental condition in this part. Only in Chapter 5 can the level of casting be described. Alternatively, if the severity of some environmental parameters deviates from the level combination, the text "but . (parameter) . (severity and unit)" can be added, for example: IE22 seconds 10g/m. Appendix B summarizes the environmental conditions included in each environmental condition level combination.

Among them, the steady-state random vibration parameter response is public The transportation conditions of various vehicles and trailers in areas with very poor road systems. (Informative Appendix)
Selection of environmental parameters and severity levels
This appendix explains the basis of classification, studies the influence of various factors on the selection of environmental parameters and their severity levels, summarizes the environmental conditions covered by each level, and gives application examples. A.2 Environmental condition study
For each environmental parameter, various possible conditions that may lead to different environmental condition levels are listed, and various conditions are arranged as much as possible to form more severity levels.
The first column of A.2.1 to A.2.5 describes various conditions. In each level column, "×" indicates that the level includes the condition. The lowest level that includes a condition can be found from the first "×" in the row where the condition is located. The above process of finding the appropriate level applies to all the following clauses, but it should be noted that climate types are also included in A.2.1. The lowest level that includes a condition can be found by first following the relevant climate type column down to the first "×" in the relevant condition row, and then reading horizontally to the right to the first "×" described in the above method. The climate types specified in GB/T4797.1-2005 are as follows: Extreme Cold (except central Antarctica), Cold, Cold Temperature, Warm Temperature, Dry Heat, Moderate Dry Heat, Extreme Dry Heat, Humid Heat, (Constant) Humid Heat. It should be noted that when this annex mentions that a condition is included in a level, it does not mean that the level describes the minimum severity required to include the condition for each environmental parameter. Note: Contingencies are not included. However, the possibility of contingencies may need to be considered in some levels. For example, when the product packaging is damaged by liquid leaking from an adjacent container during transportation on a ship.
