National Standard of the People's Republic of China
GB/T9195—1999
Classification and terms of ceramic tiles and ceramic sanitary wares
Published on November 1, 1999
Implemented on January 1, 2000
Published by the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision
GB/T9195—1999
This standard is a revision of GB/T9195—1988 "Terms and Terms of Building and Sanitary Ceramic Products". This standard is mainly revised with reference to ISO13006:1998 "Ceramic Tiles—Definition, Classification, Performance and Marking" and GB/T6952—1999 "Sanitary Ceramics". At the same time, it also refers to the relevant standards of the United States and Japan. The main technical differences between this standard and the original standard are: the classification of ceramic tiles and sanitary ceramics has been added, and ceramic tiles are divided into five categories according to the water absorption rate of ceramic tiles. The name of the standard has been changed from "Terms and Terms of Building Sanitary Ceramic Products" to "Classification and Terminology of Ceramic Tiles and Sanitary Ceramics". In addition to adding terms in each part, some original terms have been revised and supplemented. This standard replaces GB/T9195-1988 from the date of implementation. Appendix A and Appendix B of this standard are both reminder appendices. This standard is proposed by the State Bureau of Building Materials Industry. This standard is under the jurisdiction of Weiyang Ceramic Research and Design Institute of the State Bureau of Building Materials. The drafting unit of this standard: China Building Sanitary Ceramics Association. The participating drafting units of this standard: "Foshan Ceramics" Editorial Department, Tangshan Ceramics Group Co., Ltd., Tangshan Huida Ceramics Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Shunde Huabao Building Ceramics Co., Ltd., Zhaofeng Ceramics (Tangshan Sanyuan) Glazed Brick Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard: Liu Kangshi, Miao Bin, Li Zhongxiang, Wang Huiwen, Pan Minggang, Gao Ming, He Xiling. This standard was first issued in 1988.
