Ceramic indexable inserts, dimensions of inserts with holes Indexable inserts for cutting tools--Ceramic inserts with rounded corners--Dimensions of inserts with cylindrical fixing hole GB/T 15306. 2--94
This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO9361/2-1991 "Indexable inserts for cutting tools--Ceramic indexable inserts with rounded corners Part 2 Dimensions of inserts with cylindrical fixing holes". 1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the dimensions of indexable inserts made of ceramic cutting materials with rounded corners, cylindrical fixing holes, normal back angle of 0°, accuracy of G and M grades. These inserts are mainly clamped on turning tools and boring tool arbors through the top and the hole, or only through the hole. This standard is applicable to G and M grade indexable inserts with holes made of various ceramic cutting materials. Ceramic cutting materials are composed of various oxides, nitrides, carbides and metals. For example, such ceramic materials include oxide ceramics (mainly composed of aluminum oxide AI2), oxide-carbide ceramics (mainly composed of aluminum oxide and other materials such as titanium carbide TiC), and nitride ceramics (generally composed of silicon nitride SiN. and other materials such as yttrium oxide Y, and aluminum oxide). 2 Reference standards
GB/T2076 Rules for indicating the model of indexable inserts for cutting tools GB/T15306.4 Technical conditions for ceramic indexable inserts 3 Types of inserts
The types of ceramic indexable inserts specified in this standard are as follows: TN: regular triangle insert with a normal clearance angle of 0°; SN: square insert with a normal clearance angle of 0°; CN: rhombus insert with a normal clearance angle of 0° and a tip angle of 80°; DN: rhombus insert with a normal clearance angle of 0° and a sharp tip angle of 55°; RN: round moon insert with a normal clearance angle of 0°. The inserts specified in this standard have no chip breakers. · Ceramic blades with chamfered cutting edges or rounded cutting edges should generally be used, see Chapter 6. Appendix C (Supplement) Table C1 gives the size range of the inserts. 4 Allowable deviations
The ceramic indexable inserts specified in this standard are supplied according to the G and M grade accuracy specified in GB/T2076. The allowable deviations specified in GB/T2076 are estimated in Appendix A Table A1, and other tolerances are listed in Tables 3 to 7. 5 Fixing holes
In order to ensure the interchangeability of the insert installation, the diameter of the fixing hole is selected according to the diameter of the inscribed circle of the insert, and its size is as shown in the table! :Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on December 20, 1994, and implemented on September 1, 1995

6.7 Cutting edge cross-sectional shape
GB/T15306.2--94
Specified hole size
The cutting edge cross-sectional shape of the ceramic indexable insert specified in this standard can be selected from those specified in GB/T2076, or K or P type can be selected.
6.2 Additional information
The size of the chamfered cutting edge TS, K or P can be specified in the product sample of the manufacturer, and placed as an additional symbol after the letter symbol indicating the cutting edge cross-sectional shape. If such additional information is specified, its additional symbol should consist of 5 digits, the first three digits representing the value of b in units of 0.01rnm; the last two digits representing the value of b in units of degrees. See Figure 1. Note 1: When the main cutting edge cross-section is K and P, the chamfer b and the chamfer rake angle % (as shown in Figure 2) are determined by the manufacturer. It is not part of the additional information (5 digits) specified in Article 6.2. Example: The parameter of the chamfer cutting edge T on the
TNGA160412 insert is: b.0.2mm
——20°
Its code and additional symbol are:
TNGA160412T02020
The code of the ceramic indexable force insert recommended in accordance with this standard should be consistent with GB/T2076. In addition to the codes specified in (B/T2076), one or two of the following may be attached: a
Additional symbols for the cross-sectional shape and size of the cutting edge, as per Article 6.2; Commercial brand of ceramics.
8 Measurement
GB/T15306.2-94
Appendix B (Supplement) specifies the measurement method for the size m of ceramic indexable inserts included in this standard. 9 Recommended size
The selection of commonly used sizes is limited to the specifications listed in Tables 3 to 7. It is strongly recommended that These standard blades may all be used (first priority). When other blades are needed, the blade size should be selected from the non-shaded part in Table (1) (second priority). The blades represented by the shaded part of Table C1 are not recommended. Note 2: The dimension m is calculated using the actual value of the tool tip radius. When calculating, round to three decimal places. The calculated value of r is shown in Table 2. Method for measuring blade size m
(Supplement)
The size m is the distance from the tip of the blade to the opposite side. Place the blade on the plane shown in Figure 31 and calibrate the dial indicator to zero using a standard glass block. When measuring the blade, the deviation can be read directly on the dial indicator. Figure B]
B2 Square blade
The size m of a square blade is measured with the help of the diameter of a reference cylinder, the diameter of which is the same as the inner diameter of the blade. As shown in Figure B2, place the blade on a 90° V-shaped block. Before measuring, place the reference cylinder on a 90° V-shaped block! . On a block with the same size as the basic size m, calibrate the dial indicator to zero. When measuring the blade, the deviation can be read directly on the dial indicator.
B3 Diamond blade
GB/T15306.294
The m dimension of diamond blade is measured with the help of the diameter of the reference cylinder, which is the same as the diameter of the blade's inscribed circle. As shown in Figure B3, place the blade on a 55°80° or 100° V-block. Before measuring, cover the reference cylinder on the 55°80° or 10° V-block, and then add a block gauge with the same size as the basic size of m on it, and calibrate the dry scale to zero! When measuring the moon piece, the deviation can be directly read on the scale.
