This method is applicable to most types of pulp, consisting of 4 to 6 completely uniform and similar thickness blocks, each bag of about 200 kg of pulp. It is also applicable to pulp bales that are not composed of pulp blocks but are easy to delaminate. However, it is not applicable to pulp bales packaged in the form of pulp boards. National Standard of the People's Republic of China Determination of saleable mass in lots Part 2: Pulps (such as flash-dried pulp) baled in slabs GB 8944.2-88 This standard is a supplement to GB8944.1 "Determination of saleable mass in lots Part 1: Pulps (such as flash-dried pulp) baled in slabs". This standard is equivalent to ISO801/2-1979 "Determination of saleable mass in lots Part 2: Pulps (such as flash-dried pulp) baled in slabs". 1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies in detail the method for determining the dryness of pulp packaged in blocks and calculating the saleable mass of the batch of pulp. This method is applicable to most types of pulp, consisting of 4 to 6 blocks of completely uniform and similar thickness, each bag of about 200 kg of pulp. It is also applicable to pulp bales that are not composed of pulp blocks but are easy to delaminate. However, it is not applicable to pulp bales packaged in the form of pulp boards. This method is not applicable if the drilling device generates significant heat due to friction during drilling, such as some strong chemical pulp or semi-chemical pulp. 2 Definitions This standard adopts the definitions in Chapter 2 of GB8944.1 "Determination of the sales quality of pulp batches Part 1: Pulp board pulp bales". 3 Sampling method Select a number of sample pulp bales from a batch of pulp. The number of bales taken varies with the total number of bales and blocks in the batch. Weigh the sample pulp bales separately and then divide them into several groups with the same number of bales. Cut a circular sample from each block, weigh it, and then dry it to constant weight. Calculate its absolute dryness and then calculate the sales quality of the batch of pulp. 4 Instruments and equipment 4.1 Scale: weighing range 500kg, sensitivity 0.2kg. 4.2 Balance: Sensitivity 0.01g. 4.3 Equipment for cutting circular samples: including an industrial hand drill of about 1kW, a drill stand, and a cutting tool. 4.4 A set of 35 sampling cards: used to indicate the sampling position for cutting circular slices from each pulp block. (For the full sequence, see Figures 3 and 4 in Chapter 6). Take a sample from each pulp block according to the position indicated by the sampling card. Prepare 35 cards and number each card (1~~35). Each card represents the sampling position of a pulp block. The card size is 100mm×75mm. 4.5 Sample storage container: sealable (storage sample). 4.6 Oven: with air blast and can sensitively control the temperature at 105±2℃. 4.7 Dryer: equipped with a fine mesh screen. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on April 1, 1988, and implemented on August 1, 1988 5 Sampling pulp packages GB 8944.2—88 For instructions on sampling pulp packages and sampling, please refer to Chapter 5 "Sampling pulp packages" in GB8944.1. The number of sampling pulp packages is determined by Table 1: The total number of pulp blocks taken from these sampling pulp packages should be as close to an integer multiple of 35 as possible. The most common situation where this principle is applied is described in Table 1 of this standard (4, 5 or 6 pulp blocks per package). Table 1 Number of sample packages to be taken out Number of sampling pulp packages Total number of packages in each batch 100 and below 101~200 201~300 301~400 401~500 501~600 601~700 701~800 801~900 901~1 000 1 001~2 000 2 001~3 000 3 001~~4 000 4 001~5 000 4 thick slices/bag 5 thick slices/bag 6 thick slices/bag Note: When the number exceeds 5000 bags, add 1% of the number of bags in excess of 5000 bags given in Table 1, and the total number of thick slices should be as close to 35 as possible. 6 Test Procedure 6.1 Weighing of Sampled Pulp Bags Determine the gross weight of the sampled pulp bags separately and accurately to 0.2 kilograms. Report the results according to the weighing and the sampled pulp bag markings. Check the scale before and during weighing (see 4.1). If the pulp board used for packaging is significantly different from the pulp board in the package or the pulp bags are issued separately, they should be measured separately according to 7.2. 6.2 Selection of Samples Take a sample from each sample pulp block of the sampled pulp bag. 6.3 Sample cutting (see Figure 1): Use a homemade cutting tool (see 4.3 and Figure 1) or its improved version to cut a circular sample with a diameter of 100±2mm from each sample pulp block of the group of sampling pulp bags, and then peel it into samples of equal thickness of about 20mm. Put the sample into a storage container (1.5) to prevent the increase of water. The position of the disc taken from each sample pulp block is indicated by the random card method (4.4). Each sample pulp block is drilled once and the samples are collected in groups. The disc taken from the peripheral position should be 5 to 10mm away from the edge of the pulp block. 490 GB 8944.2—88 Figure 1 Cutting tool (see 4.3) A External rotating part (including 1 cone, 1 housing with 4 arms fixing two cutting knives, 2 slicers); B Internal fixed part (including 1 circular bottom plate, 1 inner housing with spring pressure and ball bearing); C: mesh spring (it is stretched between the rotating and fixed parts) 6.4 Sampling by random card method (see Figures 2 and 3): 35 cards are handled like shuffling playing cards. Then, according to the sampling position on the sample plate corresponding to the number shown on the top card, take the first sample from the top sample slurry block, and then use a similar method to take the second sample from the second sample slurry block according to the number shown on the second card. This step is repeated for each sample slurry block in the corresponding sampling slurry bag until all the positions shown by the numbers on the 35 cards are sampled. Then reprocess the cards and take the next sample from the numbered position shown on the top card. Repeat this method until all samples are taken from the sample pulp blocks. Note: By referring to the numbered sampling cards, it is easy to determine the sampling position. At the same time, an orientation board with the same area as the pulp board should be made. Draw 7 equal width lines along the short side of the orientation board and 5 equal width lines along the long side. Thus, 35 sampling positions are given on the orientation board, and 35 numbers are sequentially entered in each grid of the orientation board. Corresponding to the sampling positions of the 35 cards. Positioning sample 10/11/12|13/14 16/17/18/19/2021 22324252627/28 2333435 Figure 2 Random card method (see 4.4) 6.5 Sample weighing and drying: GB 8944.2-88 For the sample taken, the number of sample slurry blocks is as close to 35 as possible. The sample packs are combined into groups. From such a group of sample packs, sample slurry blocks are taken to form a batch of samples required for one operation, and the weighing accuracy is 0.01g. The sample is dried in a blast oven (4.6) at 105±2℃ to constant weight. When the difference between two consecutive weighings at least 1h apart is less than 0.1% of the original sample weight, it can be considered to have reached constant weight. If batches of samples are removed from the oven for weighing, the time interval between removal and weighing shall not exceed 1 min. 7 Result indication 7.1 Pulp packages that are not packed with pulp boards and do not have factory certificates (for other situations, see 7.2, 7.3 and 7.4). The sales weight X (dryness is C%) (kg) of this batch of pulp is calculated according to formula (1): X=m100 +m2100 (mjar + mza2 + ..mnan) XN Where: ml, m2 (1) The gross weight of each group of six sampled pulp bags (accurate to 0.2kg), kg, the absolute dryness of each group of six sampled pulp bags (accurate to one decimal place), %; N,———the total number of bags of this batch of pulp; N2—the number of sampled pulp bags; The commercial dryness is 90%; The result is calculated accurately to 1kg. 7.2 Pulp bales wrapped with pulp boards: When pulp is wrapped with pulp boards and the moisture content of the wrapping is significantly different from the moisture content of the pulp mass in the bale, or the packaging material is calculated separately, the whole bale should be weighed intact, and then the wrapping and packaging materials (packaging materials include all pulp boards and packaging papers folded on the sides) should be removed and weighed separately. The gross weight of the packaging materials including iron wire or iron belt should be subtracted from the gross weight of the whole bale to determine the net weight of the pulp mass. Samples are cut from the packaging materials, including one bale from each group of pulp bales, and a 100mm wide sample is cut diagonally from all packages. The absolute dryness is determined according to the method for determining the absolute dryness of circular samples in 6.5. As for unwrapped pulp bales, samples can be taken by ordinary methods. The sales mass of the packaging materials and the sales mass of the pulp mass measured separately are added together to obtain the sales mass of the bale. 7.3 Standard pulp batch: Standard pulp batch means that the air-dried or bone-dry weight of each bag is given or the gross weight of each bag together with the bone-dryness is given. For non-standard pulp batches, in order to ensure the representativeness of the sampled pulp bags, the average sales weight of the sampled pulp bags calculated according to the factory certificate should not exceed the sales weight specified in the batch of pulp ± 0.5%. The calculation is as follows (see A3.2). GB 8944.2--88 The sales weight (kg) (dryness is C%) of a batch of pulp with a factory certificate is calculated according to formula (2). Y={m100 +mz100 Where: mi, m2..mn gross weight of the sample packages (accurate to 0.2kg), kg; - absolute dryness of the sample packages (one decimal place), %; a1.a2......an d——sales volume of the batch according to the delivery note (dryness is C%), kg; e—sales volume of the sample packages calculated on the factory certificate (accurate to 1kg), kg; C——commercially specified dryness, %. 7.4 Mixed group If for some reason it is necessary to take samples from more than two groups of sample pulp bags and mix and weigh them, then the corresponding provisions of formula 1 and formula 2 are as follows: mi.nz.... aj,u2,....an 8 Test report The mass of the sample bag of the mixed group (accurate to 0.2kg), kg; the absolute dryness of the sample bag of the mixed group (take one decimal place), %.
