This standard specifies the calculation formula and limit size table for the M value (rod spacing MRi, cross-rod spacing MR) and W value (average length of the external spline common normal) of cylindrical spur involute splines with a pressure angle of 45°. This standard applies to involute splines with a pressure angle of 45° designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T3478.1 "Basic profile tolerances of cylindrical spur involute splines module 3".
