This standard specifies the specifications of seven-core cables used as electrical connectors between motor vehicles and trailers. 1 The seven-core cable consists of 6 core wires with a cross-sectional area of 1.5mm2 each and 1 common loop core wire with a cross-sectional area of 2.5mm2. 2 The outer sheaths of the seven core wires should have distinctive colors. The colors and corresponding positions are shown in the figure. 3 The outer diameter of the seven-core cable is Φ13.5-2.5mm. Additional Notes:
