From the date of publication of this standard, 4.2 in QB/T1728—93 will be abolished. Appendices A and B of this standard are informative appendices. This standard was proposed by the Technical Supervision Department of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. -Loose-leaf film for artistic photography".
This standard is under the jurisdiction of China Lucky Film Company, the technical unit responsible for photosensitive material standardization of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. This standard was drafted by China Lucky Film Company, Shanghai Photosensitive Material Company, Alme Photosensitive Chemical Company, and Gongyuan Photosensitive Material Industry Corporation.
The main drafters of this standard are Wu Xiankai, Fang Jianguo, Xie Qingyao, and Huang Linwei. HG/T2913—1997
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standard groups (ISO member groups). The work of formulating international standards is usually completed through ISO technical committees. Each member group interested in the subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to participate in the technical committee. Governmental and non-governmental international organizations can also participate in the work after contacting ISO. ISO works closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEO) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft international standards confirmed by the technical committee are circulated to the member groups for voting. At least 75% of the members who voted must approve them before they can be published as international standards.
International Standard ISO 1012 was prepared by ISO/TC42 Technical Committee Photography. Appendices A and B of this International Standard are indicative appendices. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the nominal and target sizes of black-and-white and color (negative-positive or reverse processing) laser-cut films used in artistic photography and their cutting deviations.
This standard also specifies the methods for testing the verticality and edge straightness of loose-leaf films and determines the requirements for packaging marks. Artistic photography (PICTORLAL) means amateur, advertising and portrait photography, excluding films for special purposes, such as document reproduction, phototypesetting and printing plate photography. This standard uses metric units.
